I think ill be at half a stone mark by Friday (its my weigh day!)

You need to put your cake prices up, and take some time out :) its no good for you.

At least once you have a couple of fakey ones in, you wont have to worry about them again lol!

Oh yes, def need to get the reception/evening venue sorted. Im going to make time with OH to go have a look at a few more places, and give ourselves a dead line to book it!
o well good luck for friday!! :)
yeah....trouble is i cant do any of that till at least october, got to honour the quotes already given etc LOL

im hoping if i have fakey ones ill have no other troubles...wont have toothache ever again LOL just have to stop them all from falling out if i laugh etc PMSL

I'm half way there with my dress as i'm having one made, so i've met the dress maker & worked out a design & price but she won't start making it until Feb next year(I want it now:rotfl:)

    - sometimes I feel like there nothing I can do -

o god i bet thats a hard wait! id be willing for February to come round! LOL

and i know JUST what you mean...we are sort of waiting to sort things too...have to back to venue etc to discuss things but have to wait till theres a free space in my diary! im sure the time will come when you can fully jump in and plan everything all at once :)

wow...high price tags in there!! have you seen the series?

i watched it not long back and it put me off ever getting one from there (not that i would anyway!) one of the cakes was falling in pieces and they just slapped chocolate on it to fix it....the cake itself is almost black on the outside when its yellow inside and the baker sweats in all the mixture PMSL.....could you not get a cake maker to replicate the design? im sure it would be cheaper too?

Ive met Gavin from there when i was on tv with him....really nice bloke, but after watching it on tv i was well shocked! The other lady i was on tv with went down and bought a house cake, and left a message on their page saying the cake was stale.......
just be careful because expensive doesnt always mean the best xxx

id already plamnned to have my cake from choccywoccy before the series, was a little disappointed with the series for the same reasons you said. i have said to them im happy with whatever cake they want to get me, id be happy with a 99p fairy cake, they do know how expensive it is and i just dont like the thought they will go without to buy me that cake. had a chat to them about it last night and again told them its not what i want, we'll see!!

on another note - my OH came home from work last night and told me he is being made redundant on 23rd July. We had only booked the wedding 3 days before, no inclination that anyone was going to be let go from the company. He has been phoning companies none stop this morning about jobs, budget is going to need a massive reduction. My mind is not on the wedding at the moment, its to make sure my OH is happy and he gets back in work quickly!!
