Wedding planning does sort of take over your life, there are so many things I keep wanting to look at on the internet but have other things to do too. White Sapphire you ring sounds like it will be very impresive & of course it's got to be right. Thanks for your comments, i'm going to go look on Sat:D

just wanted to say Fiona...ive never seen a ring like that before!! with the way its twisted i thought it would dig into your finger but after seeing it on the third pic across like you said it looks ok! very unique design!! xx

When is everyone sending out their invites for their September 2012 weddings? I think I've finally finished the guest list and I'm eager to get started, but I don't know if it's too soon. Maybe save the date cards? But then what's the point of sending an invite as well? Argh, think I'm getting ahead of myself somewhat!

We have already sent save the date cards as were getting married in Lindos & wanted to give people plenty of notice so they could save up & come with us! Also they release the availability for the hols in early Sept & can book up quick sometimes. I think if we were getting married in this country I would have waited until early next year to send save the dates. It's hard I know you just want to get n with things!

I don't think we'll bother with Save The Dates - just one more thing to add to the ever-increasing To Do list!! :eek: We'll start telling people we know we will definitely invite (family and close friends) fairly soon - immediate family already know the date anyway. Other guests we will tell as we finalise the guest list - we don't want to go round telling everyone, just in case we run out of space and people who may assume an invite, having been informed of the date, don't get one!

Invites themselves, probably May 2012 sometime I think, with an RSVP date of early to middle July depending on when the venue and caterers need final numbers.

the_insider, you do still need to send invites if you send Save The Dates, as there is more info on an invite which you won't necessarily have yet. Save The Dates are basically an early warning to make sure people don't book holidays, they don't have much info on them beyond the date - ours will be via phone and email rather than a card. Invites need to go nearer the time (around 3 months in advance I think).

It was all excitement at first, but with so many other things going on at the moment its been forgotten about for a while!!

Ive been busy trying to juggle cake orders....and im going to be on channel 4 on the 31st March!! Fern Brittons new show.
Excited, stressed, and bricking it all at the same time!! LOL
