LMAO at your dad's comment Tracey! I agree with Natalie, I cannot cope with horror films AT ALL - an ex forced me to sit through all three Exorcist films, and I couldn't sleep without the lights on for weeks afterwards!! I'm such a wuss...
You should definitely buy those shoes, Tracey

:rotfl:PMSL! Poor lad!!! We watched the 1st Paranormal Activity when it came out on DVD at home, OH isnt usually bothered about horrors and used to like them, but think i must have changed his mind about them over the years as he turned it off after the first 2 mintutes thinking something was goin to jump out on screen! Then we plucked up courage to watch it after laughing about it for 5 minutes BUT with the lights on all the way through! I wouldnt mind, but you cant even see anything! Freddy would scare me more!0 -
lol cheers Fiona,
awww im a real fan of exorcism films...the fascinate me! Theres a new one out soon starring anthony hopkins too
believe it or not i think ive only seen the first 'the exorcist', i dont get much time to watch films these days but for the past 5 nights weve been making an effort to get all our jobs done n sit n watch some!
so weve watched Labyrinth, The Goonies, Dark Crystal, and started to watch 'Next' lastnight but it kept freezing so we watched Hot Fuzz on itv 2 instead LOL
let me guess....are you girls fans of the rom coms?!?! LOL i HATE rom coms with a passion LOL....theres only a few i can bear to watch like Grease, my best friends wedding etc....i just find them so predictable n cheesy! (must be a man at heart LOL)
yeah im seriously thinking about getting those shoes now (even though they dont match my colour scheme whatsoever!) but i have to try n find a 'schuh' as thats the only place they have them to try on i think.
lol i havent seen those paranormal activities yet Nat, ive seen the trailer though LOL OH wouldnt even watch the trailer so ive no chance with the film! LOL
so whats everyones fav films? (seeing as most of our wedding stuff seems to be on hold for a little while! LOL)

Not really a Rom Com girlie either, and I resent your assumption that I am, grrr.... just kidding!
It depends on what mood I'm in - I quite like an action film now and again, although there should be some kind of plot in between car chases and explosions, lol! I like the Lord Of The Rings films too, and a bit of comedy (Hot Fuzz is ACE!) always goes down well. Oh, and a bit of period drama now and again when H2B isn't aroundI'm not really a film buff though, and I genuinely could not tell you what my favourite film is - rubbish aren't I??

lol, i just thought with you both hating horrors, they usually are a fan of the rom coms instead LOL
i 100% agree with you that there has to be a good plot. Its the plot that makes the film so im always looking out for good ones
do you know...ive never seen lord of the rings (any of them) all the way through...only seen snippets now and then when someone else has been watching. I did however sit through avatar at the cinema and really enjoyed it!
period drama i could stand....yet one night i surprisingly found myself glued to downton abbey! i usually hate that sort of stuff but for some reason it had me catching up with other episodes LOL
my mum doesnt watch films either.....she just cant sit and watch a full one for some reason!! though the one she will sit and watch everytime is Annie LOL:dance:

I've completely missed Downton Abbey - I love that kind of thing as well!! I'm one of those people who, if I've missed the first episode, or even the first 10mins of the first episode, of any program I will not watch the rest until I have caught up because I will have missed something!! Trouble is, I never have time to catch up so miss out on lots of good TV... still, should be doing other things anyway I s'pose!

Hi!!
With regards to the films.....i like a bit of all sorts - BUT NOT HORROR! hahaha. I must admit that one of my favourite films is Bridget Jones! (Please dont all laugh at once!) A film I could watch over again. I absolutley love Disney Films - Favourite is Beauty and The Beast! Im a big kid at Heart. Love Harry Potters too! I also like old films, cosy Sunday afternoon films. Goonies and Labyrinth are amongst my absolute fav's too, so remind me of my childhood. And me and sis used to watch back to the future all the time too.
I used to watch Rom Coms but they are all just the same, and really predictable. Just like romance books too. Cant bring myself to read them anymore.
Loved Downton Abbey too! And the Upstairs Downstairs one too. We are watching the Boardwalk Empire on Sky Atlantic at the moment and are loving it. I just love looking at all the old clothes and buildings and things too as well as the story line.0 -
