neneromanova - Where's your honeymoon? We're in the same position about not booking until after the wedding as we're relying on "donations", so we're delaying our real honeymoon until May 2013 (which will also give us something to look forward to after it's all over), but going away for a few days straight after the wedding, probably to Iceland as it's somewhere OH & I both want to go (and believe me, there aren't many places in the world which satisfy that requirement!! We often go away seperately because we want such different things!).

You seem really on top of things though - your list is lovely & concise!!

We're going to Mexico for a week all inclusive :D Soooo looking forward to it. And It's an adults only place :D Pure heaven. As much as I love my girls, a week with nanny will do them good and us as well :D Well, that's what I'm telling myself anyway :rotfl: Where abouts are you looking to go?

Probably a few days in Chicago and/or Miami & then relaxing on an island called St Maarten in the Caribbean. Thinking two weeks in total. I cannot wait!! I haven't had a proper holiday since 2009 (though that was to Australia so I can't really complain :rotfl:)

Somewhere hot where I can get a tan and this is where we're going: Excellence Riviera Cancun Although not with Thomson. Flying Virgin. And Upgrading to the posh rooms :D

    Evening Ladies,

Roz-V so glad you are feeling much better, it does get stressful at times. Sounds like you will enjoy your break in Edinburgh, hope you have a wonderful time. Don't worry about the diet start again after your weekend away & you will be fine. I usually find a few days of salad for lunch & then just a bowl of soup for tea sorts me out. I find soup really filling so I don't go hungry.

neneromanova what flowers are you having? The to do list is looking good! I must do one of these as there are somethings we need to sort. Your honeymoon looks wonderful & sounds like bliss.

Rov - you asked about the wine charms - here the link to the seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wine-Glass-Charms-Top-Table-/310380012886?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET&var=&hash=item8e09eafe65
She is called tracyjewllery, it's the 1st time i've had anything off ebay but was really impressed. I contacted her to ask if they could be done with orange beads & she said she would order them in special & they are great.

  • These are my flowers: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370582329222?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648 But i'm not having the feathers, the roses will be hot pink with diamontes in each and the babys breath will be white :)

BM flowers are the opposite, white roses, no diamontes with hot pink babys breath as they'll have hot pink dresses: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370579223935?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

OH's buttonhole will be hot pink roses with diamontes and white ribbon: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370584805700?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

Other buttonholes will be white roses, no diamonte with hot pink ribbon: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370583026017?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

My flowers cost me £62.46 including postage :D I just hope they look as good as the photos :D

  • nenaromanova and Roz_V, your honeymoons sound fab! :j I really cannot wait for my honeymoon; I'm really looking forward to my wedding, but to the honeymoon even more!!

Congratulations on the successful ebay missions Fawny and nenaromanova; beautiful and bargainous charms and flowers got there :T:money:

We're in a booking-appointments-to-discuss-or-finalise-requirements phase at the mo; appts booked with our day venue caterer and celebrant, also need to speak to the evening venue about the buffet.

I'm trying to get back into a crafting mood for the invites, but for some reason am finding it hard to motivate myself. I feel like I'm running out of time, which is daft, as the invites won't go out till the beginning of May! I'm just worried I'll have to change the design completely cos I've got no idea what to change it to if it's not working... Could someone give me an e-kick up the bum please? :o
