  • Just to let everyone know - last night I passed the halfway mark sewing the 2000 seed beads onto Catherine's veil! Pathetic to be so pleased I know, but it's the home straight now!

  • Oh my goodness, just having a mild panic attack, I havent done anything for my wedding and it's in Sept!! Which looking at how quickly January has gone thats going to come round so fast!

I say I haven't done anything, church and reception are booked, and my save the dates have gone out and I've won my invatations, but the rest... nothing!!

    Aaarrghhhhh.

I keep on saying I'll do it after christmas, I'll do it after my daughters birthday!! I need to do it now!!

I just can't seem to get up motivation! Which is crazy cos I'm so excited to get married, I dunno, it just seems there so much to do, where to start!?

    Hi,

Yes time is flying:eek: Just confirmed a few things with our wedding planner for the venue this morning & she said it won't be long.

Debbiecatal - well done on the veil you are so clever:D

I love those shoes t*ovi they look great, i'd be tempted to get them in case they sell out & at least you can get some discount so it's better than full price:D
Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

Those shoes are fab t*ovi! It's a risk waiting for them to go on sale; have you looked online to see if you can get them cheaper anywhere else?

Don't panic hun! Yes, time is going quickly, but 7-8 months is long enough to get everything sorted, and you have the main bits done already. Have you got a To Do list? If you post it here we'll let you know if there's anything you may have missed and help you plan what to do when.
I'd concentrate on your dress, the photographer and DJ/band, as dresses can take a while to be ordered, and photographers and DJs etc can get booked up.
Really don't worry about it though; this time last year my SIL2B wasn't engaged yet, and got married last August!

    Just booked my photographer. £185!!! :D :j

That's for bridal party getting ready, the ceremony and photos afterwards. Plus a CD with them all on to print out and also a boudoir photoshoot :D

She's just starting out so is doing a cheaper price. But I think the boudoir shoot will show me how good she actually is. Plus it's be nice for my OH on the wedding day with a "see you at the alter" note in it.
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..
  • That's a great find nenaromanova! :T

I bought a basic bridesmaid bouquet to have a go with myself, I spoke to the woman in there and she said she would charge £10 to do the bridesmaid bouquet! 25441412daeb44dfd656069db954e54b99c6775d9290c7f4ff5b9dbf0864b809ed6db3a0.jpg
i took out the little wired ribbons, bought some purple flowers and some flower crystals, i really like the crystals so i bought a whole load off ebay quite cheap, im going to put purple in the white flowers and clear crystals in the purple flowers, then do the handle with purple or black ribbon.
There was lots of pretty things!
I think im going to buy the basic teardrop bouquet and see what i can do with that once ive perfected the bridesmaids!
