....OH has just informed me he's staying at his flat for a couple of nights, he's sulking cos he's ill, but not realising so am I, and i've been up 3 nights listening to him cough
:(Have spent a mint on cough and cold stuff for him which he refuses to take soooooo...............................:(:(:(
Well at least you'll have the stuff in to take for your cough & cold0 -
Afternoon peeps!
Work was OK this morning, OH and Coco picked me up and we went for a lovely walk, then popped into Boots and M&S. He has a cold, which is driving me insane - I feel your pain Candy - everytime he coughs I want to strangle himI got a couple of bits in M&S, I love their veggie Kievs, which are £2.99 for two
but they are a once in a blue moon treat.
I sent him for a nap, pretending I was being all nice and concerned, but in reality his coughing was driving me nuts. I can hear him up there now, coughing and spluttering all over my nice clean bedsheets; why have I no sympathy this week? :rotfl:
Niclou hope you are feeling stronger and more resolute this morning. xx
Redruby hope your mum starts to pick up soon, and dad is OK. xx
Rosyred hope the funeral went OK.
I know we have lots of friends in need of hug sympathy or a kick up the bum just now, and I am thinking about each of you
Haggis neeps and tatties for dinner of coure. We are having veggie Haggis of course - maybe you could try that esmf? They are 2 for £3 in Tesco just now, and there is also a recipe on the GC page one too.
Lord help us, he's back up, his cough is too bad to sleep!
Have a lovely afternoon everyone.

Bitsy - Hope you had a fab forest tuesday
We did. I got very muckybut then again isn't that the point?!
Am wondering what a forest tuesday is, or am I being dumb?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If you're really bored one night here's the FS website. It's great to see kids who clearly aren't allowed to get mucky get absolutely filthy, jumping and rolling in mud, climbing trees, building dens and generally have lots of fun exploring the woods. Some of the kids have been whittling with potato peeler and a freshly cut stick today
Since I've been out all morning I've done naff allMade a batch of cakes for the kids and just catching up with emails and MSE before the school run
Off out to my Autism course tonight so tea will be whatever I can grab before I go.
No other goss I am afraid :rotfl:
Pink Giraffe - Hope your mum is OK
Redruby - hugs for you and your mum xx
Rosyred - Hope the funeral goes as well as possible xx
Tru - Oh dear sounds like you're living in my idea of hell. Hope the kitchen is sorted out soon. Araldite should fix your sink - how did you stop yourself from killing Mr Tru for breaking it? :rotfl:
OK can't remember anything elseThose of you celebrating Burns Night have a good time
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good afternoon OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

i waited as long as possible for the cleaners this morning!-i was almost late and my wife cancelled them as they commuted into our area.--they got caught up doing some legal papers and it made them late but my wife stands for no nonsense---could be looking for new cleaners next!
Day has clouded over and become cold--it has had a couple of heavy downpours with hail! most unusual and the cook was more interested in it than giving me my lunch on time! i am like all men and get narky when i am not fed!-i think she got the message not to do it again!--the outlook is for cold but bright weather--the weather swings here constantly until the end of March--it is never as wet or dull as the uk though!--the city is between high mountains and a gulf of sea but in in such a direction that it is sheltered from rain and extremes.
My good old pounds will be in my hands tomorrow for exchanging in the relevant shop--i am hedging my life's wealth into a car and gold--i dont trust the old folding stuff to protect me from inflation.--i asked a question about it on the main thread and i got some real abuse from some very vindictive people-makes me want to never post a question again!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
