Morning everybody,
I've just had a catch up as didnt get on here,or read at all yesterday (very rare). There seem to be lots of people ill again or down so hugs to you all.
Nic- I am so sorry to hear about your DH.I know you were together a long time and you must be devastated.I hope you get lots of support from your DDs.Special (((hugs ))) for you.
As for coeliac ,once diagnosed you can get bread mix on prescription.I worked with a little boy who had it-his Mum borrowed my breadmaker to experiment with.My DS2 had a spell on gluten free to try to help his allergies. He found Mr.S gf bread ok for toast. As s.o. else said its all about checking labels at first. x
Ruby-hope your mum and dad are ok.
I had a lovely long lunch yesterday with my old school friend who now lives in East Yorks. We were nearly hoarse with nattering.
Aunties funeral this afternoon, and its absolutely chucking it down.DH is working this morning so will need to finish at lunchtime.DS2 cant come as he'd booked a few days snowboarding and went this morning.Slept at his friends as it was an early start-we were out when he went, came back and found his passport on the table,so DH had to take it over for him.Good job I spotted it last night!
I need to take up some black trousers for the funeral, bought the wrong length by mistake,so I'd better go and do that or I'll end up rushing and flustered.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

RosyRed - how is you DS getting on with his allergies? I remember we discussed our DSs and their eczema a while back. My DS hasn't been so bothered with itchy skin since he cut down on smoking (sooo obvious but it took him years to work that one out!). He doesn't live at home any more so I have no control over his washing powder (!) but he used to be fine with Fa1ry. I imagine he just buys the cheapest now or...shudder...doesn't wash his clothes as often as i would!
Hope the funeral goes as well as it can for you.
Imataloss - hope you feel less bleary eyed as the day goes on. It has started to rain here so not very bright.
Off to Sainsb now for a couple of bits but we're using up stuff from the freezer mostly this week. Think they have a good offer on Per$il though. Have been using Daazz lately to get DH's white shirts cleaner and it has been good. Still got the free soap nuts to try. They aren't doing any good sitting in the drawer so might try them on a mixed load.

Can't find my CV anywhere although I was sure it was saved on the laptop. Anyway had to start from scratch, but it is good to rethink what you have done and just how much teaching experience I have. Just got to find an online teaching job now:)Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

i never knew coeliac was spelt that way! my mother was diagnosed many years ago--before that she was very irritable to say the least!
She makes her own bread from flour she gets from the pharmacy(i believe)-she always toasts it.
One day i will go to fethiye because my father in law was born there and tells me how wonderful it is--its been priced out of most turk's budgets now with all the foreign buyers.--its hard to find decent towns in turkey that have all year round living but i believe fethiye achieves it because of its ideal weather.---where is icelmer near--the nearest resort that has foreign hotels is kusadasi--its about an hours drive but i still have yet to visit it--i go north to a turkish resort when summer gets unbearable--we have a family house there so my mother in law can spoil the men and dig the gardens--she is like a human dynamo and just watching her tires me out!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
Morning all! Am trying to have a day where I just don't slip back with things. I think making any progress with things today is expecting a bit much
.
Hubby has been spending 8 hours a day job hunting after he lost his job with no notice and no compensation last Wednesday. As we were already coming in short every month and have debts, this is not good news. We also don't know what he's going to be paid for the half of the month he worked...company's going down the pan and he's still in his trial period. We have taken legal advice but not too hopeful...
Anyway, am struggling to look after my twin babies, work for my Biology and Chemistry A-Levels which I'm taking this summer (for a career change), keep the house looking this side of a cess pit etc etc.
It's hard when I know I could call hubby at any point and say 'leave the job hunting for the day, come and watch the kiddies while I sit on my bum watching Doctors'.
Anyway...onwards and upwards, sorry for the cheerless post! Trying to decide whether to treat ourselves to a tasty tea tonight (still got a bit of money in the budget but we should try to save it due to the job situation), or have chickpea curry with storecupboard ingredients.0
