Went swimming today for the first time in years, was dreading it really.. but it was great! I really enjoyed it and the time seemed to fly by. I did 32 lengths in total (1/2 mile), so quite a long way really, going to try and get 40 lengths in next time

Diet has gone well again today, fingers crossed for more weight loss soon

Hey Puddy!
Hope you had a good time, even with the food.. just enjoy it and you'll get rid of the weight gain within a week
I've stuck at 9lbs for about 5 or 6 days now
Oven broke earlier in the week and won't be fixed until Tuesday ish, so I've had white bread and it's killed me.. totally bloated me out and I feel HUGE! lol.
Shopping day today, so going to find some microwave boil in the bag fish to have, and no more white bread!9/70lbs to lose

yes it was a good week, acompanied by excess food. as best as i could, i entered all the food when i got back on sunday and oh my god, some days were like 3000 calories!! anyway, i am not weighing myself until next monday and am trying to eat under my target, have done ok sunday and monday so far but feel a bit low after coming back home so need to concentrate on not comfort eating!
i would say, just keep on going, accept there will be days that you go over and there will be more days where you stick to what you need to and over the coming months it averages out to enable you to lose. my 'average' intake now is up to 2100 cals a day because of that week, whereas before i went away it was averaging 14000 -
Very inspirational read, I would say though, don't get too hung up on what happens each day, think of what you could achieve by the end of the year. Living it day to day tired me out, now i'm just aiming to eat well and exercise for a year and see what happens.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0

well despite being resolute, i couldnt resist and weighed myself today. 3lb on, it would have been much more if i hadnt waited so im ok with this, it will take a couple of weeks to come off and then i'll be back on track again0
-
Ah no
3lbs.. to be honest, I'm in the same boat too, so need to get it back off, but gutted really.. but it's not the end of the world
At least you did yours in a week, I've done it in about 3 days lol.. oops!
Got an exam at 9am tomorrow, so I'm stress eating again, arghh, maybe I should take up smoking or drugs
*joke*
Mmmmm 3000 calories, I am jealous hehe - I could manage that easily too!
Shane - You are quite right, it is a long term plan and focussing on a bad day/week isn't the end of the world when you see it as a weight loss per year
thanks.. 9/70lbs to lose

it wasnt really a full week though, we left on monday and got back saturday and the monday wasnt too bad, so really 5 days! how come i cant lose it in 5 days????
yeah 3000 calories and we thought we were restricting ourselves, we had no desserts or starters, only had main meals, imagine if all meals had been 3 courses like i normally would have. we bought cake separately only on 2 days and had one cream tea which consisted of one scone each
i probably could easily do 5k in a day0 -
hows it going GG?0
