actually you sound really lucky, when i was 17.3 or whatever, i was a size 24, in fact i do remember that over the years when my weight has gone up and down, i always seem to be the same size, it never goes down!! i'll be 15 stone and still in a size 24 i reckon!

I'm 5ft 6", if that makes any difference, but I guess I'm lucky as I still do snowboarding etc, so I tend to keep my legs in okay shape.. although recently I've noticed them gaining more fat !

My worst parts are my tummy and arms, I hate them!

No-one would guess I was over 17 stones though, but I suppose I can see it myself, I should be nearly half the size I am.

When I was 12st 4lbs, I was still a size 14-16  but then I am a bit of a tomboy and like my stuff loose fitting and not tight..

Just wanted to add some words of encouragement, you are doing so well!

Don't worry too much about weight to size ratio, I had to say. Remember Hannah Waterman and her weightloss down from a size 16 to a 6 in less than 3 months?

Her size 16 was 10 stone 2lbs!!!!! At that weight I'd be a size 10 easily, I'm way heavier than that and I've gone down from a 16 to a 12/14.

    Hey SandC!

Ha, those celebrity diets are such a con, it's all so fake it's unreal.. that woman from loose women lost loads and now looks like she's put it back on.. so obviously didn't use her own fitness DVD.

& you know they don't get slim and toned from a fitness DVD. They will have personal trainers, special diets, and money to spend on fresh salmon and prawns etc, that the 'normal' person would love to diet on, but simply can't afford in reality.

    10st 2 - size 16!! lol - I'll be a size 10-12 I reckon at that weight.

    Thanks for the encouragement :D

yes, im 5'6 thats why i was comparing! im apple shaped, worse for health and attractiveness!

the korma was ok, not quite like the takeaway but i'll perfect it. i had a mushroom cup a soup, 4 ryvitas, piccalilli and cucumber for lunch. (i prefer pickle and cucumber, lovely) however, i calculated half the curry, whereas i only had a third, so im going to change the amount and then might have a square of me chocolate, although i dont really need to. actually i really should have an apple i suppose

I can never work out what these apple and pear shapes are? what is a big tummy and arms then? I'm more like a toffee apple with the stick lol.

I'm lucky, we rarely have takeaway, OH is a fussy eater and prefers chicken pie, toad in the hole, or anything with beans, basically eats like a 4 year old :rotfl: bless him. When I was with my ex, we ate a lot differently, both loved pizza, indian and chinese takeaway.. homecooked meals with cheese, salad with cheese, cheese on toast etc etc etc.. although I gained weight, he didn't.. arrghhh, typical..

We have fish and chips maybe once a month, but that's about it really, new OH doesn't eat cheese or milk, so I've kind of stopped eating it as well, which is great :)

Mmmm Ryvita.. I used to get this cottage cheese with prawn in, I'm sure ASDA and Waitrose did it, but can't find it now..

another pound off today!! it seems too good to be true. i didnt use the extra cals from yesterday which is just as well as i fancy for tea some spaghetti with anchovies in oil, cherry toms, olives, garlic, parsley and chilli flakes and capers, BUT it will be quite oily. might throw in some spring onions too. i have 700 left for tea (if i dont eat anything from now till then, but we wont be eating till about 10)

    Well done! :T

I stayed the same today, so I'm happy as it means it wasn't a fluke lol.. Got badminton at 5:30 tonight, so going to try and run around like a loony :o

No idea what to have for dinner tonight.. Maybe beans on toast or something boring. Actually, I think I'll have one of those steam bag fish things, peas and some form of potato. Might have the alphabet potato shapes I got lol, at least I'll have burnt them off after badminton :)

good for you. mondays is my proper weigh day but i sometimes look on a wednesday to see whats happening.

big problem is that we're on holiday next week, only going to the west country in travelodges in various places, but it means pub meals most nights, plus problems with what to have for lunches
