good for you. mondays is my proper weigh day but i sometimes look on a wednesday to see whats happening.

big problem is that we're on holiday next week, only going to the west country in travelodges in various places, but it means pub meals most nights, plus problems with what to have for lunches

Ah yes, pub lunches can be a killer... they usually have warm chicken salads and the such.. about the only 'healthy' meal they do. I'm sure you will have a great time, if you will be walking a lot in the day then you will be burning more calories off anyhow :)

Just got back from badminton, shattered! We play for a full hour with no break, and this week we were playing a lot harder than last time, so it was great.. soooo tired now though, face is still red :o

Yeah, I also love salad.. really like the ASDA prawn salads :)

Stayed the same again, despite badminton... but it did this before, and a day or so later I dropped 2.5lbs overnight, so hopefully that will happen again..

Feeling hungry today, suppose that's the downside of exercise, always makes me more hungry.

A bit of a slow day today, not got anything to do and can't quite get motivated to do any uni work or anything really.. I tend to get this after being on a diet a little while.. feel spaced out.

Been good so far today, I fancied a snack but made a cup of tea instead. :)

Not aching as much after badminton as last time I went.. just walked to the shop and back, maybe a mile in total, and I came back and was sweating loads! was really burning up. Either I'm coming down with the flu or I'm just feeling the effects of a diet lol.

make sure you're eating enough. im trying not to slip into the habit now of eating high calorie foods, but cutting out other food to incorporate them. im saving cals tonight for example for a glass of wine, or 2!

i did that pasta dish last night, anchovies, garlic, chilli, capers, olives, cherry toms, parsley on spaghetti, was really good and i measured out 2oz of spaghetti for me (dry) which was shocking at how small this was but it was enough in the end.i could eat mountains of pasta.

i did weigh myself again this morning, i dont know why i do, it showed a 1lb on. i will ignore this as ive stuck to my allowance and see it as a monthly blip.

now what to do for next week though whilst we're out and about

    Hey Puddy :)

My scales go up and down too, I blame it on water balance, and don't count it until I've lost past the previous loss lol..

    I've lost another 1lb, so 7lbs in total now :D 17st 2lbs now.

I've been eating a lot less, but I think I'm eating enough, just my body doesn't like the lack of sugar. I also have IBS, and have cut down on fruit and veg a lot, this seems to make it worse for me. Makes it hard to have healthy meals and no masses of veggies, but I need to cut them down as they make me feel so bloated.

Hmmm, next week... can you take some snack supplies with you? low fat bars? snack-a-jacks etc? and then just pick the healthiest meal you can find?

me too with the IBS, I cant eat masses of veg and fruit I get really ill with it. a raw diet would kill me I think.

well done on the extra pound, its all working now!

Oh, glad you said about IBS... I'm fed up of people telling me to eat more fibre and fruit etc etc. I get funny looks when I say it makes it 10 times worse. Silly people!

I've been for a 3 mile walk this afternoon with the OH. We have taken to walking to the train station and back on a Sunday. It's a country road with a big footpath, so it's brilliant and right on our doorstep :) it certainly gets the blood flowing anyway!

Just about to book badminton for Weds night again, that's doing me the world of good I reckon.

Weighed again this morning (I seem to do it daily, oops!), lost 1/4 lbs lol. I didn't know my scales went by the quarter?! Anyhow, that is great because we went food shopping yesterday and I bought a dessert to have for a weekly treat and a big bottle of WKD Blue! I'm not a drinker but love this stuff :) So, I had the drink and the dessert, but a normal day apart from that. Which makes the 1/4 lb even better.

When are you going away for your holiday? Have you planned anything yet or just going to see how it goes?

    Gem :)

tomorrow, its only a selection of travelodges around somerset for the week but its all we can afford and its a break. i will just have to try to have salads etc for lunches, and then meat and veg or fish and vegs for tea, but it will be hard because i usually love to sample local pastys and cream teas. i remember when we went to the welsh borders, we found a lovely bakery which sold 'lardy cake' which we hadnt eaten before, it was gorgeous, but obviously too much makes you lardy!

Lardy cake, eeeek! That puts weight on just looking at it!

How odd, my mum is off to Somerset for the week today too! lol

I've had a good weekend, scales have stayed the same today though, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Hope you have a fantastic week away and get as much walking in as you can to burn off any treats :)

I'm going swimming tonight I think! No badminton available this week for some reason :(
