Mrs Bunny at my 16 week she just checked urine and blood pressure and discussed vaccinations for flu and whooping cough, but probably only as something to do, was in and out in five minutes. other ladies had the heartbeat listened to but they don't do that in my area as it's hard to find so early on and they don't want to worry you.

Faerie it's funny, i thought i had no idea either way but as soon as she said 'i'd say it's a girl' i was sort of like 'well yes, obviously' so maybe i knew all along .
My cat has been following me a lot, after tea i go lie on my bed browsing internet/reading and he follows me up and kneads the bed for a while.

Amus I was at TLC, had my ultrasound at 11am and was in the waiting room of suite 4 until 1pm

Faithhope, a lot of people say i don't look as big as i weigh, i must just carry it well lol plus i've got naturally big boobs and all my weight goes on my belly first

thanks for all the congrats ladies, put it on facebook yesterday so have lots of lovely messages there too :) and even though the picture was so bad she let us have it for free i can't stop staring at it. can't believe how lucky we are :j

Ah think I went in to see consultant at 11.15 and came out about 11.45 so we probably crossed paths in the waiting room - small world!

Ahhh lots of baby girls :):)

When I had my 17 week appointment I had a surprise scan, did a urine test and had blood pressure taken. They couldn't give me a pic from the scan tho :(

After not having any coffee for a few months I'm starting to get a liking for it again, will baby be a caffeine addict? Will have to google and investigate..

I'd fallen out with my mum a few months ago but my bro told her I'm pg and she's got in touch and wants to be friends again, it's nice she's made the effort, all isn't completely forgiven but I'll try to forget for a while! She asked if she can come to next scan, I said yes and now she's really excited, it's in 20 days time...

See if you can develop a liking for decaffeinated Jox then you can drink as much coffee as you like! My midwife told me that I can drink two cups of caffeine a day but I'm already on decaf so I treat myself to a Coke when I need a burst of energy ;)

I hope it goes ok with your Mum.

Just thought I'd share just received some maternity clothes that I ordered from Matalan. I ordered http://www.matalan.co.uk/womens/shop-by-category/maternity/s2544362/maternity--spot-print-dress which looks so lovely I'm going to bling it up with a pair of red patent shoes and belt for a wedding on Fri.

Also got some http://www.matalan.co.uk/womens/shop-by-category/maternity/s2540594/maternity-yoga-pants and tried them on and haven't taken them off since, they are so soft and comfy

They did mess up with a ladybird costume for dd1 though, they sent an empty hanger with a pair of tights and a hairband- where's the dress?!?! I rang them and they refunded the £10, let me keep the tights and hairband and also gave me a £5 off voucher for next purchase so redeemed themselves :)
    Got married 13/11/10 :)

Thanks smlsave, I will try decaf, I hate being an addict though and was so pleased when I went off coffee!

My mum is great in so many ways but she's a Scorpio with a sting in her tail! I hope I don't offend any Scorpios :)

Maybe one day my child will fall out with me, it's a sad thought!
  • is anyone on the blue team???? there are so many pinks :)
