My bump has been huge for weeks :D I remember the first time I was pregnant just looking plump for ages however this time I went from flat to bump really quickly.

Today I am going to go through what we already have in for the baby and work out what else we need, which I don't think will be much. the next thing I need to focus on is things for me after the birth as I doubt I will be wanting to venture far in February especially if the weather is poor.

I might also be steadily building up the stock cupboards for the same reason ;)

Aw Mincepie that's a lovely bump photo :) you've popped too, feels really nice having a real bump doesn't it?

Rummer, I'm stockpiling also there's no way I go anywhere when it's cold, wet and windy so won't be any different when the babe ones along :) I almost hibernate over winter. We just need a chest freezer for all the batch cooked meals now.

First time I didn't wake in the middle of the night for a wee in ages, yay :)

Hi ladies, hope everyone is ok. Lovely bumps ladies, I'm very jealous! I just seem a bit more rounded than normal and haven't 'popped' yet.

My migraines made an unwelcome appearance again yesterday, I was doing so well and hadn't had one for ages.

Has anyone had a dull ache/cramp in the lower abdomen? It felt like the start of AF, could this be stretching pains? I've just been treated for a UTI so maybe it's not gone yet? The pain is still there but not as bad. I was half expecting to wake up today to a massive bump and stretch marks!

I took my doppler to show my mum and step dad last night, they were both so excited to hear a heartbeat and hear it moving around. My step dad kept asking to listen again!

I've got my anamoly scan on wednesday and I am terrified. I am so scared that something is wrong, it doesn't help that everyone else thinks I'm being really negative, they just want to find out the sex.

Has anyone thought about winter coats yet? I know oversized coats will be in fashion this year so maybe I could squeeze into a normal one? :D I might browse ebay later.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Mince pie - when we enquired she said it was filling up quickly (it's the only one around my edd in our area) so thought we had better book. Plus we've only got 3 pay days to pay it off before they start... Eek! It was £210 including membership, trying not to think about it!

Rummer I'm going to batch cook when on maternity leave so hoping we will be ok!

Faerie I have stretching pains again. They stopped for a few weeks but back now! I have thought about a coat, had a quick scan on ebay but didn't think they were that cheap!

I slept until 8.30 this morning, feel full of energy!

Faerie, I get stretching pains too. I've found massaging, hot showers, and lying on the opposite side helps.

I've just registered interest in our local nct class, didn't realise I could pay in installments but that'll make things easier :)

I got a great bargain on ebay, a new look duffel coat for £15. As I spend a lot of time outdoors I really needed a warm coat to get me through.

I will only be off work for a few days before I am induced (all going well) so I am trying to prep as much as I can over the next few months and I am planning on batch cooking over the Christmas holidays.

Just got some more reusable nappies, this time I went for some Little Lambs OSFA as they were reduced from £10 to £6.50 on The Nappy Lady

Planning ahead re coats! I have a winter coat which only buttons over the boobs then hangs, hoping this will accommodate bump. Also praying for a mild winter!
Will be twenty weeks on Tuesday though still got a wait til my anomaly scan...
Went to shops yesterday and popped into debenhams for advice re maternity bras. I'm a large cup size (ff pre pregnancy) have always preferred underwired and have been struggling to get comfy and decent support in the mat bras I bought a month or two back, instead wearing mostly underwired in a larger cup size. The shop assistant re measured me and had to point me online for my new supersize mat bras and I found while looking on bravissimo that actually there is no harm in underwire while pregnant, as long as you're comfy. Good news as I was going to have to spend a fortune to get a couple of bras in my size. Any other larger ladies sticking with their usual style bras?
(However I realise that if I want to breastfeed I WILL need to get a few soft nursing bras to support changing boob size... At least size ranges on this seem to go a little higher in the shops for these bras so I have hope of finding something.) sorry that turned into a little rant!
Best wishes for the ladies having scans this week, thanks for your bump photos, might take one this week to celebrate 20 weeks x

fran-o I had real trouble getting maternity bras in my size and ended up going to Bravissimo which only had a choice of two that fitted. It was not a cost I had really factored into the pregnancy but at £30 a pop I have started to think about saving for nursing bras

I'm jealous of everyones bump and boobs. Mine are a bit fuller but not enough that I need to go bra shopping yet. I was looking forward to getting bigger boobs too! :(

I've bidded on some lovely (and cheap!) maternity coats on ebay, so fingers crossed I win. I'm making my husband come maternity clothes/baby shopping after our scan on wednesday. We haven't got anything yet for me or the baby and I am just about squeezing into my normal jeans.

    Hi Ladies
Having a downer of a day today, very moody and sleepy and nothing is pleasing me!!! Feeling angry at myself as 2 years ago I was 4 stone lighter than what I am now/before pregnancy. Since being married the diet went out the window and I crept back up to a size 16/18 instead of a nice size 12. Did start a diet about 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant and ever since, I haven't bothered with what I have eaten. On the positive, I have only put on a couple of pounds since finding out about baby.
I love dresses for work as they are so comfortable, I tried a few on this morning and to be honest, a black bin bag would have looked better! So down hearted, looks like I am sticking to jeans and vest tops with cardigans this winter. I tried on some tops in mothercare yesterday with my mum as she wanted to buy me something, well my boobs that have gone from big to whoa massive just did not fit in the tops at all. I even tried the next size up and they just fit but the rest of the top was huge on me. Im sorry for my moan I am having a really big downer day :-(

DH is on nights and he slept till 330pm today so feel like I haven't seen him at all (works 6-6). I hope I sleep well tonight and wake up happy in the morning, I hate being in this sort of mood.

On another positive note, as my mum and I were in mothercare yesterday we (well mum) pop a deposit down on a pram. Gone for mothercares own brand - Orb. It was the only one I liked so now just need to take DH to see it! He is 6ft3, while my mum is 5ft2 so needed one with an expandable handle to suit the pusher. I loved the berry red colour they had it in but I chose black in the end as I know my DH wouldn't agree! We only went for a look around!!
