I've been having that "bubbles/butterflies" feeling for the past couple of days, it's both interesting and weird0

A healthy uterus has contraction like movements all the time.. hence the cramping, usually you can't feel them but they remove any potential problems from the body.. you feel them more when you have an inhabitant as the surface area is bigger but it is all a good sign.
Yay then! Thanks chick xDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
Hey everyone,
Sorry to hear your shoddy news AmyTry to make the most of the time. Could you volunteer doing something as an extra feel good factor?
Hope the pains subside soon Vic. My scar is quite painful still although the midwife I saw was a new one and started telling me that " i might start feeling movements soon although not to get too worried if I didn't as it was my first baby"......!! Useless woman, why do they bother with notes if no one reads them!!!
I met up with my friend this morning. She has been discharged from hospital although she had a terrible time Monday afternoon and was rushed into theatre after loosing 1.5l of blood post-partum. I just can't believe how crud her week has been. She asked me if I wanted to visit baby Hope when she is moved to the funeral home but i just don't think I could face it. It would be too close to home. I told her I would let her know but how can I tell her I don't want to? I just don't know what to do
I'm not enjoying the heat very much. My skin has a nice colour to it but my brain is beginning to melt!
Hope everyone else is doing okay. Does anyone have their 20 week scan coming up?

Lily, I would say I would love to be able to visit but emotionally I couldn't cope due to my own loss but in time I would love to see the pics they have of her. Be honest, she deserves that much. As for notes.. the fact noone ever reads them is one of the main things which pee me off!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Good advice. I don't think you should go if you don't want to. XDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -

How are you all doing?
Just take each day as it comes.
Bump due 18th January :j0 -
Oh that sucks
I still get slight nausea sometimes, thankfully it seems to be settling down now.
I bet now I've said that it'll come back :rotfl:0 -

I'm still taking cyclizine twice a day... every now and then I'll try going without it, but I always regret itI think some of us are destined to suffer for a bit longer than others, have you seen your doctor about it?

I'm only really nauseous when my hayfever is out of control and the back of my mouth/most/throat is swollen, and/or I get really hot, or someone on tele does something wretch worthy (eg. I couldn't watch a Bush Tucker Trial). If I've been out too long and not drunk enough water I feel more sick too.
Amy, why have they said you'll be off throughout now? Cos of the suspected (?) Spd or? If you really wanted to and felt up to trying, they should accommodate you at least trying a phased return on light duties, surely? I can relate to your feelings though - I've not worked (due to ill health) for 6 yrs and it really knocked me for six. I've always been so independent, it really messed with me mentally/emotionally, both in the beginning and when I realised it was nothing they could "fix". But, the love of a good man helpsand at least when you've had the baby you should be able to recover, right? Chin up, I know it's tough, but it'll all be worth it.
And you haven't messed anything up

Lily you just have to be honest with your friend. You poor women have too much in common and I'm sure she'll understand. I value your support and friendship and I only "know" you on here, so I'm sure the effect is tenfold for those lucky folk who know you in RL.
Starshinning sorry you're still feeling sicky, I don't think the weather helps either, perhaps a chat with GP if it carries on another week or so? Look after yourself , and you too Amyloofoo :kisses3:
I just wondered how soon you guys had been feeling movement? Lily iirc you felt your little one early? I keep getting a weird fluttering in my tummy, but sometimes it feels a bit like a heartbeat/pulse type feeling. I should recognise the feeling as this is my 2nd baby but I wasn't expecting to feel anything yet? I'm 14+4, but I am quite slim and my placenta is at the back, which I know can mean you feel kicks earlier! Exciting if so. Got my MW appointment on Tuesday, I'll be 15+0 so will see if she can have a listen with the doppler - I know she might not find HB though!0
