Thanks for the isofix feedback ladies. MiffyMoo if I'm honest I'm v confused but from what I gather EasyBase is something you secure with the belt and then click the car seat onto? That's the sort of thing I want, i just thought they were all called Isofix! haha! I'll go into mothercare/kiddiecare at somepoint this summer with OH and we'll do some thorough research!

Felt a big kick last night during a film, it literally made me jump and yelp in surprise! OH had his hand on my bump all night but didn't feel a thing. Can't wait til the kicks are big enough to see / feel from the outside so he can join in! Used a doppler though and found a really loud heartbeat so he was happy with that!

Just realised that I'm 24+2. Forsome reason I thought I was only 22 weeks lol.

Really tempted by some of the Aldi baby buys but payday isn t until tomorrow plus June is an expensive month (car insurance, road tax, tiny terrors birthday, nephew's birthday, fathers day x 2 plus my dads birthday is also on fathers day!!!!)

Argh. Tiny terror has been budgeted for (be wants a buzz light year and woody toy) so at least thats one thing ticked off.

    hello everyone :)

been catching up with the thread most days but just havent really had much to add!
Lots and lots going on here as well, new jobs for me (within the same company) and DH, renovating our new house (turning out to be a very big job) and me not being so well.
Typical me I dont get ill for a long time, then I get a respiratory tract infection and end up with antibiotics after having been suffering for 4 weeks before they give me anything.
Nevermind! 17+6 today and starting to sprout a proper bump-ish, still feeling very tired all the time. but it could be much worse, I count myself very lucky everything seems to be going quite smoothly so far (fingers crossed)
hugs to all who are feeling in limbo and to any who just want one (just because) :)
    xx

Poppy - I was super confused the first time round. Only taken me to my second baby to fully understand. Once you findout which one you want and check it fits in your car, keep an eye on Amazon, as they seem to have good offers pop up every now and then. I bought my first Cabriofix from there for a bargainous £60 odd.

Feeling lots of little flutters today which is nice - not loads but comforting all the same. DD was helping me sort out some gender neutral sleepsuits for the baby - undoing and doing up the poppers and stuffing them into boxes. makes my job twice as hard as I then have to take them out and redo, but she was having fun.

Good luck for the scans today :)

Had our 20 week scan this morning and baby is a BOY! Feel so weird to say 'he' rather than 'it'. Trust that the sonographer got it right as she showed us the evidence lol :D

Everything looking healthy so i feel relaxed now. Apparently my placenta is right at the back so thats why I have been able to feel movements since 16 weeks. Went for a look around the shops afterwards and got a few wee outfits from next. DH was very chuffed he finally got to buy the blue Beastie Boys tshirt he had his eye on for a while.

Btw we bought the Tommee Tippee closer to nature microwave steriliser in mothercare for £13.50, thought that was very cheap as it is £18 even on amazon. You get a free bottle and dummy in the box as well :)

I'm gonna have to go Aldi and get some baby bits, there nappies are fab for those who haven't used them before, I use them on my 20 month old, great value for money, I'm Deffo not going near pampers with new baby they're so expensive and leak.

Just wondering has anyone got there matb1 yet?? I can't remember when your meant to be given it? Xxx

Toothfairy - Congratulations on Team Blue!! Great news :)

Hi and wlecome MiniMoo. Make sure to add yourself to the list. 4 kids is a nice and even number. I think 2 kids will be my nice and even number!

Oooh, just realised that I go on holiday in a few weeks. Hoping DD will be less clingy with me so that she can do fun beach stuff with daddy whilst I lounge on a lounger with a cold drink. Has anyone seen any nice maternity swim wear around?

Also - we're contemplating squeezing in another holiday at the end of the summer, but I'll be 34 weeks. Not sure if this is cutting it too fine - a bit too close to the due date do we think?
