Had my 16 week midwife appointment today, saw a different midwife to last time, but I'm glad this one was much more helpful and was surprised when I said the form hadn't been filled in for free prescriptions yet, so she's sorted that today which is great. All my blood tests have come back fine including iron, and finally know what blood group I am, I always wondered!

We've also caved and bought something for baby even though we were going to wait, but Dh traded his old phone in and got £220 in amazon vouchers which came this week, and the item we wanted was half its RRP on amazon so we decided to order it before the price goes up again, as I doubt it'll go much cheaper. Nice to have finally bought something just got to wait till its delivered!

The tommee tippee perfect prep machine, all the reviews we've seen are great, and at £56 instead of £100 it seemed a good time to buy it!

Hehe I'm counting down till Saturday till we find out the gender, then it'll counting down the days to the 20 week scan to know everything is ok, it seems like time slows down the closer you get to a scan, it seems like forever waiting doesn't it!

Lozza I've ordered one too! Having been there before I did not enjoy the whole boil kettle, wait 30 mins, make feed, cool feed then feed your baby whose been crying for 40 mins :p I signed upto amazon family free trial to get £10 off x

I didn't buy anything last time until 20 weeks so still feels early but that's all I've ordered.
Trying to save for a deposit
    4000/ 10000 saved so far..

Yeh we said we'd wait till 20 weeks but caved to order this while it was cheaper, going to try and do our best to not buy anything else till after the scan but I have a feeling after we find out the sex this weekend well end up buying at least one piece of baby clothing :D

Nice to know I'm not going to be alone in formula feeding :)

That looks so good! I will try to BF this baby, but if like with DS it doesn't work out I will definitely be looking at getting one of these.
