Morning everyone, hope all the mummy's had a lovely mother's day. Strange to think that my last mother's day without being a mother is gone!

I'm 15+6 and I'm already huge. I spoke to the midwife last week incase I was just eating loads (hah!) but she said it's definately baby, s/he's just sitting higher than some at this point but it's nothing to worry about.

    Dying to feel movement though!

Oh I'm still swelling in the evenings - girls in work have commented on how much bigger I am at the end of a shift than at the start! Because I was on nights last week it was odd having the swelling in the morning and the girls coming on were amazed at how much bigger I was, Am heading to work now so I'm back to normal for now.

I had to get out the pelvis belt last week as it started flaring up in work and walking was not fun at all - but does anyone else know how to wear them so they are ok to wear while standing AND sitting. It's great when I'm standing up but so uncomfortable when sitting!

Hope all the sickness has eased for everyone, my sister is 7 weeks (very excited auntie!!!) and she's having a really bad time with it - I've been very lucky and escaped it completely with this one.

I spent my mother's day at a noisy softplay centre with DS and OH. It was chaos and not very relaxing, but great fun and it knackered DS out which is always a good thing :D

Had a '16 week cervix-check' this morning as I have had LLETZ treatment previously and they want to keep an eye on my cervix to make sure it is long and strong enough (it is, so not sure why I have to keep going back for checks).

I had an internal dildo scan for my cervix which was fine (she kept telling me what a great cervix I had...not sure what to say really but thanks! :D)

And then they gave me an unexpected tummy scan, so I got to see baby again..yippeee! she was all curled up and facing towards my spine and didn't want to play (who can blame her on a freezing day like today?), but heartbeat all good and saw some legs and hands so I am a happy bunny :)

Got my 16 week midwife appt tomorrow morning..honestly i shoudl take up camp at that hospital!

Hope your appointment goes well MV and congrats on your great cervix :rotfl:

I'm gonna go to the docs today had a near fainting do picking DS up from school yesterday, went really hot and queasy and seriously thought I was gonna pass out had to go into school and sit down, very embarrassing :o anyways only been back at work for a week since being off for 4 weeks with severe sickness so don't think they were pleased when I rang in and said I wouldn't be in work last night, oh well me and baby's health are the most important thing, at least if I go the docs it'll cover me with work even if they dont do anything which I doubt they will

Hope everyone has a good day take care xx
