I was emptying my bag last night and took out the cotton wool ball from the blood test and he asked what they were testing so I passed him the scan pic and just said 'that'.. He looked horrified briefly then did his stresshead pacing for an hour and asked a few question such as how far on, when is it expected, was I taking the pill properly etc.. which I was.. meticulouslyl! ... he went and fed the cats and hid in the kitchen for a bit.. He came through and hugged me and said he is concerned about lack of money and space.. which I am too..

He seems ok this morning and I wasn't murdered as I slept.. this might not be too bad
Hope everything works out OK for you. You will need his support if this pregnancy is as bad as your last one. I'm sure you'll manage to squeeze it in somehow. My Great Grandmother had 14 in a 3 bedroomed house

Am I supposed to have a meeting with the MW in week 16 with my first? I can't remember what she said when I saw her apart from now really being her patient until 24 weeks. It seems like a long time between the W12 scan and the W20 scan without seeing anyone. I haven't had any blood test results back et either that they took with my scan. I'm sure they said they would write to me with the results as well as my Dr.

Hi nutshell yes with your first baby you should have a 16 week appointment. Worth giving your surgery/midwife clinic a call if you haven't got one booked in.

We both know. He did mention stepping up his game in a hunt for a job but tbh if I am like I was with the last 2 I won't be able to do the school run or look after these 2 properly so will need him here so we have said once it arrives that is what will happen.. I will be so pleased if he can find work.. not only will it get him out from under my feet but it will give us both some much needed time, I really think it will do him good .. though 3 in 3 years + school runs may be slightly harder at my ancient age!

Aw poor you! I sympathise. I got bad headaches earlier on in my pregnancy. I somtimes realised I was a bit dehydrated so have a big drink of water. I also got my hubby to massage my head and temples and remember it is ok to take paracetamol. I had to take it a few times when the headaches were particularly bad. Hope u feel better soon! :)

Thanks love cake. I think it's a migraine, its been going on for 3 days now and I'm really sensitive to lights. It's not as severe today though so that's a relief! Still, I'm going to spend a few more hours at least in bed with a kool and soothe on my forehead :)

Is this possible do you think?

I am pretty sure I can feel something that I remember from last time.

I know you are supposed to be able to feel movement earlier in second pregnancies.
