It's poking the fIngers through that's causing the issues I think. Will buy some straws online :) thanks

LOL.. Squeak did that .. pencils are her favourite to poke in them at the moment.. I just bought 8 new beakers and about 20 new spouts.

They're the only cup Ive found that he'l drink good amounts from, I've a cupboard full of unsuitables! Think it's because he doesn't have to tip it. I saw the pic of all the cups  what made me think of you to ask about the damage....

Oh MiniMuffin, hope you're ok and didn't hurt yourself beyond bruised pride.

Pigpen - have you told him yet?

Still no sign of a bump at all and I'm 17+1! In fact after my granny commented on me losing weight I've had no end of comments on it - my SIL said it, 2 mums in school and my eldests dancing teacher was saying about how great I look and I've lost so much weight, I had to tell her I'm actually pregnant! Ah well, I'm sure I'll be looking huge in no time!!!

  • A week's wait for a scan? Even though they are querying that you're 16 weeks, that seems mad. Is there anyone you could talk to in RL about how you're feeling?

Nope, I have too much scar tissue, it isn't possible for midwives or consultants to feel either.. so it isn't just me being dim..
    Ah, I thought there'd be a reason :)

Well as I have been here early I can now say.. no I'm not.. the mw thinks I am about 16-17 weeks (or 13 and there is more than 1!!!) scan on Tuesday so we shall see I guess...

Wow, you might end up ahead of me after all that! What did you think you were? 13 weeks? Is she going purely on your bump size then?

Back at work today (I love working in a school with all this time off :p). My bump seemed huge to me just after a week off. Sadly I have a bit of excess fat from last time that's ruining it, especially when I sit down, it overhangs!! Hate it.

  • I had a couple of comments today about how much I've rounded over half term, it's nice to hear :)

I had my first kick yesterday and a few more today, I cried...I love this little girl so much already :o:A

She whizzed out the doppler and picked up a hb about 4cm below my navel to the left and another in my right hip.. so she thinks there are either 2 and I am about 13 weeks as the hb's were very different 120-125 and 136-140 .. or I am 16/17 weeks and baby moved fast.

I think I'd rather be 13 weeks and 2 than have a whole month of preparation time stolen off me. lol.. I don't think there are 2 tbh I don't think I felt sick enough for that to be the case. I guess the scan will reveal all.

  • Lovecake My Mam got me two products from the Mama Mio range, the tummy rub cream and the oil which I've been using on my boobs since they started growing so rapidly then on my belly, love-handle area, bum and thighs since I've been growing more. I also have two little bottles of bio oil I've had for a while for other stuff so I sometimes use that too. I find oil a bit too greasy for day time so tend to use the cream in the morning-if i remember and an oil for night time. The Mama Mio stuff is a bit pricey but it feels and smells lovely, just will never know if it's worth the extra really! But i feel if I don't do this I may regret it! No marks so far :)

Ooh Pigpen best of luck telling your OH, can't believe you may be so far along!
