Lovely bumps! :) Good luck pigpen! Sorry you are feeling rubbish Giz :(

I went to a second hand baby sale at the weekend and got a few little things. Some wee outfits, a steriliser (never used, but without the box) and a bottle warmer. I'm feeling better that I've got a few things bought now. Next on the list is the pram!

Here is my bump about 2 weeks ago - so 19ish weeks. It is definitely bigger now. I think bubba is having a growth spurt!

Baby shower was lovely, very spoilt baby and mum :D
    And it's a girl :D:D :j :j
So I was wrong and so was Bounty gender guesser!

Have been sorting through an absolute boat load of clothes today that a friend has passed on and I don't think we'll need to buy anything for about a year :D

Now need to focus my head on uni for a few weeks until the Easter break, and stop constantly wondering when flutters will become big kicks...

Congrats on team pink! Glad you had a lovely baby shower! :)

Oh also, I meant to ask...has anyone had any braxton hicks yet? I had a couple early hours of this morning. Not sore, but my tummy just went really hard and was a bit uncomfortable. The muscles round about my bump are a wee bit sore today :(
  • Lovely bump lovecake! I had a clumsy trip in work earlier, was a bit shook up but ok now and didn't fall on bump, a wall and my arms broke my fall! Haven't had any braxtons i thought you get them later on? Ive no idea, they don't sound very pleasant! I do get a sore bump the odd time but put it down to baby growing or digging into me!
    Mum of 2 :j
  • Very lovely bump lovecake :)
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
  • I'm pretty certain I got my first full kick today :j Really want her to do it again :D

Been very good today and been swimming, going again Friday, cub seems to like the water and it helps me sleep so much as releases all the tension from my back as I'm sat at a desk studying so much at the moment!

Pigpen, can't you feel your uterus to give you a clue of how far you are?

Nope, I have too much scar tissue, it isn't possible for midwives or consultants to feel either.. so it isn't just me being dim..

lao_cat I don't drink coffee but I switched to decaff tea so I could still keep my coke habit (coca cola) But 200mg sounds about right.

hey everyone! sorry it's been a while since I last posted. lovely bumps ladies, I will try and put a pic of mine later if I remember, 17+2 today and it's definitely there now. although I'm sure it shrinks overnight and gets bigger throughout the day!

we went to the baby show on Sunday at excel london, it was actually really good! not that many freebies but some quite good discounts, we managed to get the tommie tippee electric steriliser and starter set for £55 reduced from £140 which I was pleased with. I was soo tempted to buy a lovely travel system that they were selling ex display for £300 down from £500 but in the end I felt it was too soon in the pregnancy for that kind of spend, maybe after the 20 week scan. plus we would have had to carry it home!

has anyone else got really dry skin? it's really itching me, especially in the crease of my legs. don't know whether to see the doc about it? it's not really a rash, maybe excema but I've never had it before so I don't know.

hope everyones well, good luck to any upcoming scans, can't wait for mine!!
