Good news in_shock
In Wales we don't get offered the nuchal scan, just a blood test which came back low risk but it is not as accurate as the scan. I am not so bad with energy, still managing my 12 hour shifts and all the housework (OH is currently doing up our new house ready for us to move into with the baby so he's like a whirlwind of mess!) But i am asleep straight away when i get into bed! boring!!;)

Thanks for the reply.
Mine is very painful, weak and numb but I have also found a lump in my wrist that wasn't there before.
Where's the lump? If it's on the top of your wrist it sounds like it could be a ganglion. I don't think carpal tunnel causes lumps...."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Right there with the tiredness, looking forward to a lazy day tomorrow and hoping OH will help with some housework as so much needs doing!0

Yes, it is and I wish that it would bog off tbh as it is doing my head in. The doctor thinks that it a ganglion as well and I have to see a specialist - oh joys.0 -
I'm getting the blood test for Downs on Tuesday - fun (and really hoping my arms aren't left in the same mess I was after the booking in appointment)
I think the pregnancy sleeping pattern is kicking in with avengance, have been awake since 5 most mornings and I'm shattered! Am off on annual leave now and no work for 11 days, it's also the girls half term break.Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -
Evening ladies! Hope everybody has had a nice weekend, loved seeing the sun shining here! Hugs to all those feeing the tiredness or still feeling sick.
I am in heaven, got a new bra yesterday :rotfl: I got measured and have gone up another cup size and a band size, so am really pleased I had a fitting and am sooo much more comfortable now!
We also did some buggy window shopping at the weekend, think we have narrowed it down to three choices. Has anybody used either Babystyle Oyster, Mamas and Papas Sola or the Britax B-Agile 3?
I managed to resist buying cute baby clothes, was so tempted, but I know once I buy one thing the floodgates will be open, and am trying to be :money: about things (not that my buggy choices are very MSE, but the in-laws have offered to foot the bill for that purchase.....)
Have a good week ladies!0 -
Gotta love a new bra!
We've been sorting the nursery tomorrow so it's all ready for painting next week! Got our cuddle chair in there ready for feeding too, I think it'll also be my chill zone for later pregnancy.0 -
Hey, Mrsj I played with the Oyster last week and love it, made up my mind that it's what we are getting, it's really light, flips down easily, looks funky and I love that you can change the colour pack as and when you want-it's great cos we don't know what we are having so planning on getting grey to start then a funkier colour after a couple of months. I would love to get measured but nowhere does it round here, i swear they get bigger each week-I'm not complaining!but I put my B cups into storage 2 months ago! This week i bought a D and it fits lovely!
Sparkles what is your cuddle chair?I am always looking out for a nice feeding chair for the baby's room, tho my Mam did spot a lush chaise longue in argos today!Zebra print ain't very nursey-ish tho is it!0 -
It's actually part of our lounge suite but I've stolen it as its big enough to sleep in, and will be comfortable for me and baby to feed in. It's similar to this one: http://www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/offers/mylo/large-swivel-chair/ but slightly different design. We've got it right next to the cot too so will be easy to move and as it swivels, it can sort of rock him/her if needed. OH is bit gutted though as he'll miss it in the front room!0

OMG i'm not surprised!it's lush, looks so cosy, ideal for the middle of the night feeds!:)0
