It's funny that you should mention that because my doctor doesn't think that it is carpel tunnel either. She thinks that it is a ganglion, too and I have been referred to see a specialist. She told me, in a jokey manner, that they used to cure them by hitting them with a Bible - eek!!!!!
I had a ganglion a few years back and my doctor told me the same thing! Whacking it with something heavy disperses the cells, so it'll shift it for a while. The alternative was to be referred to an orthopaedic surgeon to have it dug out of the joint. I had a period of time when mine used to flare up and be painful, and then it just seemed to go away and I've had no problems at all for ages now.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. MV I have only been showing the past couple of weeks really, so from about 19/20 wks i started to get bigger, haven't had much weight gain on the scales though. I was worried about not getting bigger but the baby is fine and measures just fine. After looking at places like instagram, youtube and internet I have seen that bumps come in all shapes and sizes and everyone is different so I've quit comparing myself to other people!0

I'm convinced my belly is just full of wind!
I can't remember from last time, although I did take pics all the way through, I cleverly forgot to label the early ones.
It seems like everyone is different. I had a massive bloated belly from about 10 or 11 weeks I think, but it was definitely just bloat. I bought maternity trousers at about 14 weeks as I couldn't fasten my jeans. I have had a proper bump since about 15ish weeks. Now, at 20 weeks tomorrow, I really look pregnant with a big solid bump. I look obviously pregnant because I am quite petite and due to the shape of my bump - it isn't one of those 'is she pregnant or is she just a bit fat?' situations anymore. I have been getting offered a seat on the tube for about 2 or 3 weeks now (not often mind you, but don't get me started on that!)0 -
I get the bloat as well!! I'm fine in the mornings but by evening time my tummy has bloated up and I'm going off like a cannon! I turned 15 weeks on Monday and my tummy was big all day but I woke up on Tuesday and it was gone.
My waist is definitely getting thicker but I just look fatter and not pregnant at all.Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -
I've only hit the definitely pregnant not fat stage the past couple of weeks, the kids I work with finally asked (I would have told them this week anyway) as they wanted to before but wondered if I was just putting on weight after Christmas but now it's properly rounded and high
I love it actually!
The accompanying backache isn't great but I'm sure swimming will start to help, going on Sunday0 -
I'm 14 weeks today :j and got asked by a kid a school if I was pregnant! I'm huge already. Gone through my bump photos with OH and he says I look like my 19+4 photo from last time! I had no bump at 14 weeks last time.Baby Giz born 6/2/110

I'm also in the bloat group: I'm 17 + 3 and just look like a barrel by the evening! Good job I can feel the bump when I lie on my back or I'd be convinced I was sleep-eating!0

Afternoon all. Had a letter from hospital today saying that nuchal scan & blood tests indicate a low chance of Downs Syndrome.
Was a bit anxious due to the risks being higher with age but am happier today. Wish I could get a shot of energy from somewhere though!

Ditto on the shot of energy, in_shock. I feel so bad that I'm not doing anything with DD, but I just can't get my bum off the sofaBaby Giz born 6/2/110
