Not had a chance to catch up been really busy with uni assignments and had a Handbag party last night which was fun! Amazing how a grown group of women get so excited over a room full of handbags :j

helen4891 - hopefully everything will be ok with the testing - this was my biggest fear with this pregnancy as I am 36 - 37 when baby arrives. I know the chances are still low, but am pretty sure it does not stop you worrying.

I can totally understand your decision too, though am not sure what I would do. My husband and I talked a lot about what we would do if this came up for us. I also have 3 children and I am sure this must be a really tough time for you. :(

    Fingers crossed for you xxxx

hi chornorla thanks for the reply,
well 2 morow is the day for the test. ive gotta go to london University College Hospital, they said it take 2/3 days fro results , but i really doubt they will phone saturday so more likely goin to be monday.

i think 1 in 122 sound low, but ne thing under 150 is high risk.

what will be , will be i suppose. just keeping fingers crossedxx

Will be thinking of you tomorrow helen and whilst you're waiting for the results; I hope you've something going on to help distract you during the wait. Will also keep fingers crossed for you, and yes 1:122 is still 1:121 that everything is alright x

hope everyone else is well :) x

Afm, we've a family wedding next weekend and DH had wanted to keep the news of our pregnancy until after the wedding so as not to detract/ take any excitement away from the wedding itself... he agreed with me this evening that it would definitely not be possible to have kept it hidden as although we're just 14+5, I definitely look pregnant!
  • thanks saffagal. x

i know what you mean about trying to keep it a secret lol
people were guessing from about 11 weeks with me. and now 2 weeks further along, my bump seems huge already. my last baby was 9'3 so kinda dreading to think the size of this little monkey!
hope you have a lovely time at the wedding xx
  • I have been away a while, just letting you all know i'm still here and plodding along. Have moved house over the past couple of weeks so had no internet and been busy settling in. I will try and read back through the thread later and catch up on anything i've missed. 16+4 now i think 20 week scan is the 19th november, can't wait to find out if we're team pink or blue!

Hi Helen, just wanted to send you some big hugs :grouphug::grouphug:

Hope you are resting up tonight and OH is looking after you and that the next couple of weeks fly by.

I am absolutely whacked out this week, wonder if baby is having a growth spurt at the moment. Also had a bit of a dodgy tummy the past 2 days but only at night, weird.

Everyone I've spoken to says they are tired this week too, wondering if it's the run up to the clocks going back?
    I :heart2: saving money

    I've been Money Tipped!
Helen, well done for being brave and having the next tests done.
Good luck for the next two weeks.

Starting to tell people now, which is lovely, just hard to tell them all in the right order (heaven forbid Granny finds out from anyone else other than us!)

Hope you're all enjoying your bump growing.x

Hugs helen - I hope everything is ok xxxxxxxxx

Yes I definitely have quite a sizeable bump and I am nearly 16 weeks. Guess its the joy of being my 4th baby - everything stretches much quicker :rotfl: And them all being over 9 and a half pounds.... Haven't got much hope really have I???

Well am shattered, have spent all day in the uni library reading and my little eyes are very tired and sore. So going to put my feet up (and will probably be asleep on the sofa in about 10 minutes). Poor OH - I am such good company at the moment......

    Hope everyone is well xxx
