Yes - hopefully check All the health stuff is ok then find out. We like to plan as a couple and dh secretly has his heart set on a boy. - I know he'd be over the moon as long as its healthy - he just might need a bit of time to get used to the idea.
Told him yesterday my granny was one of 8 girls so the family odds are stacked against him!!0 -
Ikkle - you've done really well to only have put on 7 pounds!
Been following my healthy eating plan for 2 days and I feel
So much better. Just need to stick to it now and hope I don't put on much more than I already have.
Have my 20wk scan at 8.30 this morning even though I think I'm 21 weeks. Quite nervous but hopefully all will be ok
Considering I'm 38 weeks and at my scan 2 weeks ago he weighed 5lb 15oz I'm quite happy with 7lb lol.
Good luck for your scan, I was sure bubs would be a girl because they are predominant in our family but finding out he's a boy felt amazingx
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Good luck for today Zcrat.
Thank you for all your support. I am 13+1 today and it seems the sickness is easing at last. Yoghurt and fruit for breakfast and then off to work. Can't shake off the tiredness though yet and I have an exam in a month so revising is not going well!
Hope everyone has a good day xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

I'm off for a scan today too (15 weeks) and also intralipids (a sort of voodoo milkshake thing that supposedly keeps my natural killer cells at bay and may also help hold back my predisposition for pre-eclampsia0

Good luck with your appt Sarah999.
Penguin - I started feeling so much better at 12 weeks and by 14 weeks I felt like me again. Hopefully you'll keep feeling better.
Thanks for all the good wishes - scan went well - have popped a pic on the FB page. Have to say I'm impressed with the NHS - seen straight away, brilliant ultrasound lady who was very reassuring and talked us through everything and told us what she was doing the whole way through.
We found out it's a boy! We're not telling anyone we found out so it's good to let it our on here!0 -
Morning all, hope everyone is ok.
Congrats on the good scan zcrat, I can't wait until ours! Still 5 weeks to wait though, grrr.
I am feeling ok, less tired and not felt nauseous for quite a while. I am quite emotional though... been worrying about things out of my control like OH getting sick again (he recently had a kidney transplant) and me being left looking after him AND the baby. I guess the PMA has to be worked on sometimesI feel like all my friends/family think he is cured, but he and I know that its just another treatment really and it could fail/reject at any time. Hopefully it won't and he'll get 15 years out of it, but the worry will always be there i think.

One of my sisters did SW and managed really well on it. I might see if she still has her books and have a look. I'm trying hard to eat a balanced diet, had a bad day today though, oooops! Made sandwiches for my dinner but didn't eat them and went and got a footlong from subway. It was delicious though, I just say that the baby wanted it
Countrybum - I've got a small very noticeable bump now, took a new pic this morning, will upload to the fb group when i an get my iPod to work properly, was misbehaving this morning. It's still quite soft and squidgy - my bump that is, lol!I :heart2: saving money0
