Queen B, it automatically appeared in my groups list on the left hand side of the Facebook page. 2b is away at the moment though, so maybe she has to do something?
My mum hasn't been terribly sympathetic about my expanding waistline, saying that I'm not showing yet, but I just caught sight of myself in the mirror and thought "holy cow, I look pregnant"I'm going to have to get some maternity clothes soon, as I only look remotely ok in a fraction of my wardrobe :O and I keep wearing the same things over and over

Ahhh I see, thanks Millie, thought it was my baby brain again, it's been quite bad this week, lol!
I'm seeing my mum for the first time in almost 3 weeks tomorrow and I'm dreading the weight gain comments, she's always quick to point out whenever someone has put on a pound or two.I :heart2: saving money0 -
What is it about mothers and weight gain comments. She knows I'm going to get big but feels the need to ask me on a weekly basis how much I've put on. P0

I put shampoo on my hair yesterday BEFORE I got into the shower. Not sure what I was thinking.... No hope! What is it about mothers and weight gain comments. She knows I'm going to get big but feels the need to ask me on a weekly basis how much I've put on. P
Mine doesn't, but this surprises me, as she is totally obsessed with weight (hers and everyone else's) I can tell that she's "monitoring" the situation though. Might start staring disapprovingly at her stomach :stirpot:0 -
Love it Millie! Mine's not the skinniest either! And she cooks for me over the summer (we're farmers so work ridiculous hours) and I'll be damned if I've seen a vegetable in the past 3 months.
Well, I've got myself back on track with a plan this morning. I think it was the out of control thing that was stressing me a bit with the weight gain. I lost 5 stone with WW 2 years ago and my mental state now seems to be - oh, I can have 2 chocolate bars cos I'm pregnant.
So my plan is to use the tools I learnt with WW to lose weight to stay healthy. I'm going to track my food and aim for 40 points a day. If I'm hungry though, I will eat more - but the rule is it has to be healthy. 7 portions of fruit and veg a day, 2 dairy with plenty of protein and carbs. And I need to pick up on the exercise. Been for an hour long power walk this morning and already feel better.
Feel much better with a plan. I know your not to diet when pregnant and I'm certainly not going to try to do that. Just to keep an eye on myself. My portions had got way out of control - I'd started eating 2 rolls for lunch not 1!0 -
I am at Slimming World at the moment but it has been really hard with the sickness as the only thing I want to eat is crisps and Heinz soup! My BMI is really high so the midwife was more than happy for me to carry on with SW. xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Looks like I've been spared my mums comments this afternoon as she has texted me that is going out this afternoon so not to come round. I think she is annoyed with me but as usual she never says what I've supposedly done wrong, good job I'm not feeling over hormonal today or else I'd be annoyed.
Penguin -apparently SW is the only diet that safe during pregnancy. I used to do Rosemary Conley including going to the classes each week. I gave up the classes last year but continued with the food part until I was pregnant, now I still follow it but not as strictly, for example my snacks are not just fruit anymore, sometime I'll have a biscuit or a dairy lea triangle and I drink more milk, on the diet it was 3/4 of a Pint a day and I don't feel thats enough anymore when I'm growing a little one.
So now my afternoon out has been cancelled I'm settled in front of the play station killing baddies!I :heart2: saving money0 -
Slimming world is great when pg. Because of the way it works you HAVE to eat healthily, with small treats. Whereas something like weight watchers, because its points system allows you to eat anything, you could in theory eat lots of chocolate nad nothing else. I'm using slimming world principles at the moment and haven't put any weight on yet. 15 weeks today.0

Im ment to be following slimming world but havnt been able to eat meat or dairy so i'v only raelly eaten junk food and whatever i felt like, but i have lost weight :S
I got really confused this morning, go on our scales and they said i was 11 and a half stone , when i was 12 and a half only 4 days ago, last week at SW i weighed in at 13 stone ( our scales are always about half a stone lighter than SW ones) Either our scales have broken or there is something strange going on.Aims for 2014

Apparently SW is the only diet you can do while pregnant. I'm actually about to join... I'm nervous though as it looks like a lot of cooking, and DW is doing all the cooking at the moment (her American way - smothering it all in butter!!)Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
