Hiya Ladies,
Had our booking review yesterday (17+2) and originally we had not planeed for OH to come along as he works so far it would mean a whole days holiday for a 20 minute appt but after a bit of drama in the morning with getting to work in this weather, he ended up being home anyway which worked out well for me lol as he done lots of housework
Midwife took my BP (100/70) and checked my iron levels and apparently they are all perfect but i did have some keytones in my urine so not drinking enough water that day
Babies heartbeat is between 130 and 140 which apprently is also very good and we even heard the baby kick the doppler away for interfering lol!
OH is very happy that his baby is 'cooking' in there well so I have one happy man at the moment
Had my first emotional hormonal cry last night... my OH really is a wonderful man who works so hard and loves me so much but had a horrendous childhood and had to bring himself up it makes me sad that I had syuch a lovely childhood and that he really needed to be rescued but also incredibly proud of the man he has become and what he is prepared to do for us (me and the baby) so i was sobbing my heart out. OH asked what was wrong and gave me a cuddle but told me to stop crying about it because he is fine, but I could tell he was really flatered that I think he is so amazing.
Hope everybody is doing ok xxx
P.S Just worked out I have 100 days of work left including today
Gonna copy this over to 12-24 weeks thread so sorry if you read both xxx:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Hello,
I'm new to this board (usually hang around on Christmassy ones or OS) I am 16 weeks Friday. (I have my 16w midwife appointment Thursday and then we are being naughty and having a babybond gender scan on Saturday) This baby is a miracle baby (5 yrs TTC and told ICSI was our only option along with many MC's) and I still haven't quite relaxed yet but am getting very organised with baby bargains.
I would love to be part of a "group"Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

Hi Lalaland,
I haven't experienced that but we have a running joke that if I were to turn green and grow an extra arm it would be perfectly normal during pregnancy
If you are worried give your midwife a ring but I would have thought it was another joy of pregnancy.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Ive had constant headaches which midwifes said was just another joy of pregnancy but during sex i have a sharp headache start and lasts until about an hour or 2 after....anyone else experienced this? Its only been happening the past few weeks and so im thinking/hoping it is pregnancy related.
It is probably blood pressure related, have you had yours checked recently? (nothing to panic about though!!) I'd actually speak to the GP about headaches and not the midwife if I was overly concerned but if they are only lasting an hour or 2 I personally wouldn't be too concerned about it. They do say headaches are very common during pregnancy.Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

Has anyone felt any movement yet? I keep feeling popping but I'm not sure if it's baby or bowels...0
