Congrats BCS - wow another blue - it's a veritable boyzone in here lately!
Emerald21 congrats on your little grandson, bet you are chuffed to bits - ha ha, they'll tease him later on about his scan
Ecoelle so glad you are feeling better - we're all going to have low days, thing is to see that we'll have good ones too, and that there's a gorgeous little one in there to smile about. I have already told hubby that when we feel our inevitable panic-anxiety attack about all this coming on, we should schedule to have it together for moral support :rotfl:
Sequeena how did your scan go?
Apricot good luck for tomorrow, just one more sleep eh :T:):)

scan went great! everythings as it should be.
still on team yellow but ii think i may have seen a winkle! but then if a trained sonographer cant tell you 100% the sex then im probably not going to be able to determine!!!
ive got a high anterior placenta which explains why i can only really feel movement lower down!
apricot- good luck for tomorrow!0 -
Yey Anderson :j Glad everything was Ok at the scan.
Good luck for you scan today Apricot
DL - are you going to find out at the scan what flavour you're having?Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
lots of boys, due.
glad every scans are going well. i love the 20 weeks scan as there is just so much more detail.
i used the chinese gender preidctor, i was right with 2 of my previous pregnancys, but 1 it was wrong, having said that i wasn't too sure when i fell. it says this time i'm pink. which i'd love but part of me is thinking bump is blue.
Does anyone else not feel preg ? i know i've said this before and although my wasitline is expanding so i know somethign is going on i really don't feel preg at all, i just feel like a chunky monkey.i have felt little movement's from baby in last week or so. but it still doesn't seem real. i know this sounds awful but i'm getting fed up of being asked how bump is. as i not really too sure what i'm meant to say. i feel great, i've got energy, i'm doing everythign i normally do there is nothing to really say about bump as i don't remeber it there let alone remember how things are. i know after 3 pregnanices i should prob be used to body changes and whats goes on. but this feels really different.
yes i'm excited, but i'm also concentrating on my 3 little ones at the mo, so i'm not 100 % baby this, baby that. if that makes sence.
it all just seems sureal like it happening to someone else. i'm just a 3rd party.
i got asked how long till next scan and i was like oh about 4 week;s. the person was liek, omg but the waiting is killign you. but it isn't. ( i think it now just over 3 weeks) i'm happy to just let time goes as fast or as slow as it is.i'm not wishign my life away, of course i'm exciting about the next scan, but i'm happy to wait.i can't explain it. i know i'm very laid about about it all.but maybe i'm too laid back. does anyone else feel the same? i guess perhaps if it your first baby then maybe you won't . don't know.0 -
jcr - I know exactly what you mean. I feel totally "normal". Not that I really know what being pregnant is supposed to feel like as I haven't done this before lol!
People keep asking me how I'm feeling and I'm like "yeah fine thanks". I don't quite know what they're expecting me to say.
I'm pretty sure I can feel baby moving now. At first I wasn't sure as it was a sort of cross between a tummy rumble and a flutter but really faint. But I feel the same thing every evening now so I guess that's baby moving.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

Clairloo, thankyou for that. so nice to know i'm not on my own. yes i do get tummy pains, the usual stretching one's. but nothing to write home about. i get them, i get on with it. i don't even tell hubby , because i kinda think it not something unusal, it normal. they don't hurt . i tell hubby of course when i trying to turn over in bed as that the only time they do hurt and he can tell as i move like a snail, lol. so slowly.
but hey i guess if all i've got to worry about is not feeling preg and feelign normal then i guess i am very lucky. as after watching last weeks obem, or the week befores then it brings home how much so mums do have to worry about.
Congrats Apricot on your pink bump.0 -
