Fab news Sequeena! :j Do you still need to keep having scans just in case or are they satisfied now?

I am hopefully having my last scan next week :j will be kept an eye on by my consultant but that should be it. I think I've stopped leaking, fluid smells like bleach and I've not smelt that for a while so know what to look for :j

jcr I know it can be daunting as you think there are certain ways you have to behave, or ways not to behave, ways to feel or not to feel. It's my first so I don't know at all how to feel, but each day that passes I guess I accept it more... It helps that tummy is getting bigger in a way.

I don't know if you are feeling less pregnant this time compared to your other pregnancies as less symptoms, or it just gets easier the more you have as the body is used to all the growing :o

Plus now we're all around the 20 week mark or close, we can start to count backwards eh... I am 21 weeks so... 19 weeks to go - aaaaaaaaghhh :o;)

Apricot massive congrats - I knew there was a little girl in here somwehere  Now you can look at all the pink things I was looking at :p

Sequeena - Great news re: amniotic fluid, bet you are so relieved and can sort of get back to normal now :T
Are you calling bubs by his name now? We have nearly narrowed down ours I think, but for now I keep calling him Sweetpea...

thanks sparkle. i'm not sure either if it due to less symptons or like you say as my body just used to it.

Part of me feels like i wanna scream and shout, YYYYIIIIPPPPEEEEE I'M PREGNANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and go out and buy loads of cute little bit's. But another part thinks, better not fo that, will wait till next scan, and make sure all is ok. and then maybe i'll get sorted.I appreciate aug is a long way off, and tbh i'm not fussed about it going quick as i know the longer it take , ever day the baby gets stronger and grows. etc. but i just feel like i should somehow feel preg. werid i know, lol.

JCR I know what you mean. I don't feel pregnant still - I have a belly but even this morning looking at the scan whilst she had the thingy on my belly I couldn't quite believe that was inside me.

I apparantely have a high anterior placenta which is why Im not really getting any kicks still. Will upload a pic if I can when I get home!

Apricot - same here I think re: placenta, they said it was high and would protect me from longer from those little kicks :D

I was snoozing in bed today and Sweetpea decided I had snoozed too long, I definately felt some tapdancing on my bladder, if he gets that technique going I will have cleaned the whole house before going to work as I will wake up so early :rotfl:

I am getting quite sore after I eat for no reason - seems to be high up on my right hand side - just under b**b - that makes no sense???

Sparkle - I think it's because as your womb is growing it's squashing everything upwards and outwards :( - I get the same thing

I think these babies of ours are just trying to break us in gently for the early morning/sleep deprivation cycle!

I just popped in to say congrats to those that have had their scans and good luck for those yet to come - I'll be mainly posting on the other thread now as I'm past 24 wks so see you over there!

BTW - Sequeena - great news about the amniotic fluid :j

Hi girls, this is my first chance to pop on today.

Anyhow, CONGRATS APRICOT!! and GREAT NEWS SEQUEENA!!

Jcr I'm the same about not feeling preg. I just hope my expanding waist line is proof that my bubs is growing?!

    Who's being scanned next?

Claireloo, yes I am hoping to find out which flavour - are you?

No but its going to be really hard saying no at the scan. Its just that virtually everyone I know who's had kids has said its better to not find out. The people that have done it both ways have all said that they thought it was better when they didn't find out. I'm so impatient that I'm desperate to know though. :rotfl:Maybe it'll be really obvious and then there's nothing I can do about it!!!!
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T
