Thank you very much for making me spend £70!! :rotfl:
hehe, I was close to spending £50 but as they apparently had to open a credit account and i couldn't get any vouchers, I went to ASDA direct and got some nice maternity holiday clothes there at 40£ - hoping they arrive in time for next week though!
The good thing about being a dance teacher is that I've been living in jogging bottoms. I ordered the same sizes so that's interesting to see Chrissy - I was also shaken by a near accident on Tuesday, made worse by the fact it would have been my fault ish, so had to get out and talk to the other driver and as it was at the college gates, all my loving students saw me and im teaching them tomorrow morning, brilliant! now debating whether its worth getting petrol before I go out and how much time i should leave for it...

I bought some maternity clothes from the Next sale online and received the majority of it yesterday. Really pleased with my purchases especially the black work trousers reduced from £22 to £10. They're really really comfy. Just been on their website as I'm considering buying another pair and noticed they still have lots of maternity wear left in sale section:

i was a bit frustrated looking at the sale on line, i was specifically looking for a pair of jeans but they all seemed to say delivery to take up to a month grrr i need them now lol:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
maternity clothes - i brought size 12 trousers which is my normal size, fit great.
i havent brought any specific mat tops yet, just tops that are baggy. i guess it depends on how much your boobs have grown as to whether you go up a size top or stay the same.
have been told by my sis to get some leggings as she wore these all the time when she was pregnant.

I have two pairs of maternity leggings and I lived in them last year. One pair now has a hole so will be getting another. Found that I was able to wear my normal leggings until about 24weeks under the bump.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

New Look has some pretty good bargains at the minute, jeans from £12 and 2 pairs leggings for £15 if anyone is interested. I'm on a big economy fdrive so won't be spending!
Had scan on Friday, all well baby measuring bang on and very active. We didn't find out what we are having as would like a surprise this time!
Saw midwife today, heard heartbeat for the first time which was great, sounded like galloping horses but can't remember which way round it is for trains/ horses. Will be seeing midwife again at 24 weeks, quite nice to have extra appointmnets, I feel more reassured.
I feel the best I have since I found out was pregnant this week, was put on antibiotics last week as quite poorly with a virus, and have just realised how ill I have felt since Christmas, strange isn't it?
I hope everyone is well and has well behaved babies!

You should be able to stick with your usual size for maternity clothing - it's cut to accommodate the extra weight you put on round your botty (and shaped to account for your bump of course).
I've discovered that there's a bit of vanity sizing going on though... I've gone down a size in some shops. My mamas and papas jeans are a size 10; I haven't been a size 10 since I was about six."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

The other thing with jeans in new look I round is the top of the jean but not the elastic band digs right in above my pubic bone. And little lady still likes to sit down there most of the time so it feels too tight and doesnt have a panel to stretch here.
Finally got practically all my annual leave booked up with work so am now working 2 days weeks from next week isntead of 3 and then 1 days throughout May until mid May when I trot off on mat leave at 32weeks!
When is everyone elss planning to start Mat?0 -

I found this with the New Look ones. I thought about going up a size but they were way too big everywhere else. I went elsewhere for jeans in the end (got one pair from mamas and papas for about a billion quid and another from H&M for £7 - bargain!)."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
