No no cough or wheezing or breathlessness. But hey temp appears to be staying down so maybe an infection somewhere.
Sorry to hear ur partner not supportive. Mine has been awesome even tho we don't live together. He comes round and helps me when I n need it xxxxlove you lots like jelly tots0 -
colourmepurple, sorry your OH is being rubbish. Men are sometimes so useless aren't they. You are SO much more organised than I am. I'm planning on hitting the car boot sales once they start up, hopefully getting some bargains (although I need to actually start thinking about what I'm hoping to find
). I've seen a John Lewis cot I like, which is only £100 new, but I'm keeping an eye on ebay to see if one comes up near me.

Hello!
My tummy is full of gasIt hurts and looks like I'm far more than I really am. I'm 20 weeks and 3 days today and we still didn't buy anything for a baby (though we've put a new floor in a lounge). We started decluttering .

Finally made our first baby purchase which was a very weird feeling! Mrs Alf was desperate to buy a motorised swingy seat type contraption that was 200 quid
Luckily I steered her in the direction of a Fisher Price one that was half the cost but probably cost 50% more than it would cost in the west  Not falling for that again, only the best cheap local branded crap from now on! :money:
OH is an expert haggler though so we manged to walk out with a bag full of free stuff though.
We have found a bed we really like that comes with a suspendable moses basket, but I just cant get my head round prams/push chairs/travel systems. Everytime I approach a row of them in a shop my brain seems to scream at me 'You do realise you could be somewhere else drinking beer right now?'.
Maternety wear has now been acquired. OH came back from the shops with 8 pairs of THE most ridiculous granny pants I have ever seen. She seems to have been in a constant state of, how shall we say, 'friskyness' since becoming pregnant. So much so she even went to the Dr as she was convinced something was wrong. Anyone else been having this problem :rotfl:Spring Fesitval Challenge: Save health & money! Day 1/7

Re pink for girls. I don't like pink in general. We have been in Italy last week, and I have been buying baby clothes in the sales.... We spent just over 100 euros, so not little, but I came back with two full bags of cute outfits. Ok, one of them has a bit of pink - white body suit, with a pink outline of rose...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

I'm pleased there are others who feel a little uncomfortable with the girl = pink business. Personally I don't mind pink as a colour; what frustrates and angers me is the excessive prevalence of pink alone. There are simply no other options. It's depressively limiting and creates this culture whereby if a little girl's not interested in pink or princesses or glitter she's 'weird'.
We're being told that our daughters should be nothing more than pretty and meek and into nice things like princesses. Jeez, bring back the 70s when girls wore dungarees and played with toy trucks and wanted to be doctors, not glamour models."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
A lot of baby clothes aren't advertised as 'boys' or 'girls', it's just that a lot of people think they should buy pink things if they're giving it to a girl and wouldn't dream of buying pink for a boy.
It's the same with toys - dolls, mini kitchen and baking kits for girls, cars and ball games for boys but you don't have to do this. My friend's little boy has his cars but also loves his kitchen
Names, we've kind of given up or rather put names on hold until much closer to the time as we were tying ourselves in knots. Our focus at the moment is to buy a pram and car seat, once that's over we'll start on something else. Doing things in bits is the only way we can avoid getting overwhelmed with everything.
Had a fantastic weekend as we had a few friends over who we haven't seen for over a year so had a great time catching up. Though despite not leaving the house and having afternoon naps I'm absolutely exhausted this morning.
Got a couple of days to recover before my mum and sister visit for a few days on Wednesday
Does anyone have any plans for Valentine's day?
Baby is rather active this morning0
