Yea I use dreamgenii. Posted a comment on it on the general pregnancy thread this morning.

I've been using the dog - not his recommended use though! Keeps you lovely and warm though - but needs to have a dog who's never happier than being cuddled like a teddy bear.

Seriously - mothercare do their own version for about £30 I noticed yesterday.

    Morning all :)
jediquigley I hope your scan goes well, I found the first one really exciting but slightly scary until I saw baby was OK.

Got back from my scan at 9am and have spent the last half an hour or so phoning my parents. Everything looks fine and is growing as expected. Seeing the hands and feet was brilliant, I found seeing the spine and brain really fab :)

    We're having a boy :)

Pillows: I asked the same thing on the main thread. I can't imagine using dreamgenii one, as I can't imagine turning over when using it. I saw Mothercare one online, and I might get that one.

Someone on the main thread recommended Lidl ones, apparently they had long pillows recently and they are very comfy. I went to my local Lidl yesterday, but they didn't have any, you might be lucky if you have Lidl nearby. Oh, and they were about £10 apparently! Oh, and Aldi are selling V-shaped one these days, which is £6.99 if anyone is willing to try that. (I might have to stop in Aldi on the way home and check it out)

Quick question... can you get scan pics at the 20wk scan? I read that the baby is too big to fit on the screen so wondered whether it was common to get pics.

We got pictures. The sonographer can zoom in and out of the image so it's perfectly possible to fit the baby on the screen.

We got pictures at 20 week scan as well. Although the sonographer made sure they were the worst pictures we have ever seen!

I used two of the Lidl pillows, one to sleep on, and one between my knees!
  • I bought a Mum-E pillow last week, but it's a bit big and bulky and not that comfy. I'm 5'5 and feel its a bit big (well tall, iykwim) for me. But going to hang on to it as it may get more comfortable as I progress. And yes, turning over in the middle of the night is a big hassle!

DH loves it though, had to drag it off him on saturday morning!!

I hope you are all having a nice Monday so far xx
