I'm starting pregnancy yoga tomorrow night, hope its good, never done yoga before and I'm not very flexible so I hope I can do it!! it's the first 'exercise' class I've ever gone to where I have to take pillow with me for the relaxation bit!!!
  • That sounds fun Lisa. I really fancy trying pregnancy yoga. I keep meaning to look in to it. Let us know how you get on :)

    Oh, enjoy the yoga, lisa!!!

I would love to do it as well, but haven't found around here yet. Also, aquanatal is from 16 weeks only here, so I will try and get there after Christmas. However, it is only during the day (12-1pm!!!!), so if you are working, you are not welcome! I haven't been told about any other classes, but I am looking for them.

It's taken me until now to find this class and it is literally the only one I have found in my area! I found it by posting on the netmum's notice board for my area (get signed up if you're not already, lots of helpful stuff on there) and someone eventually replied and told me about it. i'd love to do aquanatal but there isn't one around here. i believe that you are entitled to time of work for aquanatal etc. if its during the daytime but I'm not sure if thats only if the midwife or doc thinks its beneficial to you.

Flu vaccination done. Not feeling too bad, apart from he annoying headache that is here for about a week now and nothing seems to help. And a reminder for myself - next time appointment is on Tuesday, go long time before, as parking is nightmare! It is market day in town, so half of a large car park is taken over by the market, other car parks full, and so many people, you would think everyone is on holiday. Have to say - mainly elderly, but where do they all come from??????

Got my two parcels, one from Royal Mail, who gratefully decided to resurface their customer car park, so no parking available - parked on double yellow.... Then from Yodel, who don't even have a clue what customer is and the whole access road/car park was completely full, guess by employees, as there were no customers collecting parcels there! Had to park few hundred meters away and walk in this gale.

Sorry, I am just tired, and need the headache to go away.... Someone tell me to shut up...

    Hello

I thought I'd bite the bullet and join in a pregnancy thread, seeing as it appears that I am, in fact, up the duff! (I still can't really believe it, despite having had my first scan, LOL!)

    I'm 13w+5d, EDD 14th June. :)

I recognise a few names from the TTC thread - hi!

Not much to add, really - I haven't indulged in buying any baby-related stuff yet, just a pregnancy pillow and several pairs of leggings! :rotfl: However, I am going to have to admit defeat and buy some maternity trousers at some point soon, as my wardrobe is starting to get very restricted...!

  • Hello all, I am a newbie. Just had first scan today and was delighted to hear baby's heart beat and see them kicking around like crazy! I am 12 weeks + 4, and due now 22 June. It is my second, but as DD is now 9 it feels like I'm starting all over again!

I am quite big already and have had to buy maternity jeans; I had found a couple of maternity clothes second hand over the year and they have come in handy already. We have told my family, some friends, and on the weekend we are telling OH's family. After that I will be openly preggers, will feel great after months of hiding it!

Still feeling tired and queasy, but hoping will pass in the next few weeks.
