My little one kicks me low down too. Its kicking up a storm this morning! I dont think it likes Monday mornings any more than I do!
Congrats on Team Pink Snoopy!
Congrats on Team Blue Glimmer and lots of hugs too x
22 weeks for me this week. How time flies!0 -
Lots of kicks here this morning too, must be the 'we hate mondays' club!!
Been to the docs and had blood taken for my latest thyroid check this morning so got a little bit of a lie in. Still didn't want to get up though, we've finally put the winter duvet on and the bed was sooooooo cosy!!
Snoopy, has the doc let you go back to work now or do you have another week off?0 -
Morning Mummies,
Been back for another scan this morning with the Fetal medicine team. The bowel is still echogenic but they definately couldnt see any other abnormalities and baby has grown since Thursday which is all a good sign. We have had bloods taken for infection and CF and will get all the results back in around 3 weeks. We decided not go for the the amnio, we were 1 in 10000 chance of downs before this was found and it now takes it to about 1 in 3300, but I consider that to be low risk, especially compared to the 1 in 100 chance of mc from having the amnio. What ever happens our baby will be perfect and we will deal with what ever might happen0 -
Happy for you Laura, in the end that's what I said, worrying won't change the outcome, so what's the point!

Laura, glad baby is growing well and there are no other problems. Fingers crossed the blood results come back ok. I don't blame you in your decision not to go with the amnio, I agree that even your 'increased' risk is still very low. I had the CVS when I got my 1in10 result but normally they don't offer any further testing unless your risk is 1in150 or less so under any other circumstances they wouldn't have even considered you for it. Hopefully the bowel thing is just one of those things and will sort itself out by the time baby arrives. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx0

Thanks girls, would be nice if they managed to get the results all back before Christmas :0) On the plus side we get to see baby again late February!
My Mum has asked if we would like a 4D scan, was a bit worried about seeing babies bits but at the same time think it would be really nice to do. Suppose we better start thinking about buying the big bits after Christmas too so we can get the nursery sorted xx0 -
Laura, good news. Hope the results come back soon!
We went to Germany this weekend, met up with my cousin and a couple of OH friends. We shared our news - they are expecting a little boy in April!
I am still tired. Was sort of managing this morning, but now after lunch, I am falling apart. I am having more pains again, period like ones low down. How nothing is wrong, but would really love to lay down. Unfortunately, I am in the office, so no chance of that happening.
We tested our doppler Friday night together, and we heard the heartbeat! I am not sure if it was one and the same baby, or both, but it was amazing. Was thinking to check it last night after our trip, but was so tired and still had to get the gifts for OH family for Christmas, that by the time I was done, it was after Ppm! As we received the book 'Contented house with twins', I had to read at least few pages before going to sleep. And then getting up every few hours for the loo and a drink means my sleep is still very disturbed. I am also finding that my head is so full of thoughts and things, that I am finding it hard falling asleep after waking up, as I start thinking about something, or planing something. Need to find a way to switch off!
I am off for my flu jab tomorrow to the GP surgery. I don't see consultant until January 5th, so it is a long way away. I will be 17w+3 - so much for more care/check-ups when you expect twins. (Had booking in appointment 3 weeks, ago which was no use at all, and scan last week - hope to get results before we go on Christmas break).
Now, when does the energy boost comes???? I am still as knackered as i the first trimester, and sometimes I am thinking that it is getting worse.
On the buggy front - we saw the Zoom tandem pushchair (ABC design) in Germany yesterday in use, we even followed the people with OH for a while, so now we would actually like to find it in the UK and have a play, as it looked really good).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hi lovelies,
Laura that's great news and as others have said you're taking a sensible approach in taking it all in your stride, a 4d scan sounds lovely, wish we could afford it!
Had our 20 week scan this morning, little one slept most of the way through, and we are team PINK, tried to get the poor sonographer to say with more certainty but couldn't see any boy bits so that's good enough for me! Delighted and looking forward to being able to relax a bit now although we got some bad news at work today I'm just keeping positive and what will be will be, my parents managed with next to nothing when I came along and so I know we'll just have to be resiliant!0 -
Gin, I didn't start feeling better until about 15-16 weeks, infact after 12 weeks I initially felt worse before I got better! I think everyone is different, hopefully you'll start to feel better soon.0

Congrats on team pink Amymo, glad the scan went well. Sorry about the bad news at work, hope things get better.0
