If you can get to see a doc, try and get some Dermacool aqueous cream with 1% menthol. I had horrible itching all over my body till the consultant prescribed me this stuff... heavenly relief!
You can buy it but its not cheap at £24 (for a big tub), hence better to get it on prescription, even better if you have your exemption form already!

Just popping on to say hello

Had a manic day at work today and got quite stressed out but when hubby got home he put me in the bath and made me some pasta so I am all chilled out now watching Im a celeb on Sky plus.

Really looking forward to scan tomorrow. Good luck to others with scans tomorrow too, I hope we all get on alright. I'll let you know how I get on afterwards and will look forward to hearing about everyone elses experiences too. Thankyou to everyone who wished me luck above, I love how friendly and supportive this thread is and find it so reassuring to be in touch with people going through the same things

Hi everyone,

Not been on for a while, hope you are all well - good luck to the three with scans tomorrow, let us all know asap all the news. Mine is a week on Thursday and we are sooooooo excited, not just to see if everything is ok, but to see what team we are on!

Been a weird few weeks, with all the stressof the move, but with lots of helpfrom my lovely family, the new house if fully decorated and looking good, apart from the nursery which is waiting for pink or blue day!

We are settled now, and just need to relax, I have been signed off for a week today, not been feeling great, and blood pressure is a bithigh, so amtaking everyone's advice and going to chill and relax for a week, do some pottering about!

Hi everyone , new to the site, after 10 years of trying 5 horrific miscarriages and just about giving up , I am please to say I am pregnant ( 13 weeks) with TWINS !!! conceived naturally, the shock has finally settled in and am just starting to turning the corner or worry and and looking forward to next few month. Had my 12 weeks scan and was in awe , AMAZING! first time i have the scanning room smiling instead of hysterically crying from yet another loss. my 20wk scan is friday 13th January ( couldn't of picked a better date!) and I am due on 30th may ! not that ill get that far lol, Good luck ladies and its been a pleasure reading your bloggs x x Marina

I am feeling like c-rap after my flu jab yesterday, should have stayed at home :0(

Glad to hear you've got moved and decorated OK, hopefully you'll be able to relax now! Glad to hear you have a week off and hope you feel better by the end of it, you deserve a good rest after all the stress you've had recently! My scan is a week on Fri, if it'd been a day earlier we could have had a meet up in the waiting room!!

Does anyone else find that they feel their baby move loads some days and not at all others? I can't help getting a bit worried as I haven't really felt any movement for a few days but I know they say you won't feel it consistantly until around 24 weeks. I thought that it'd be more relaxing once I could feel movement but its actually more stressful!!!

Dont worry Lisa, I was full of worry before my midwife appointment yesterday thinking something might be wrong because I hadn't felt anything for a few days but all was well and we even got to hear babies heart beat. Some days I will feel baby move a few times throughout the day and others not at all. I was very very lucky yesterday that baby was having quite a big kick about while I lay in bed with my hand on my tummy and OH got to feel it for the first time
