The Tommee Tippee steriliser is £23 at the moment from Mothercare Lisa pretty good price I think.

Think I possibly saw it for slightly cheaper in Asda or online but don't quote me on that.

£39.98 on Asda at the moment. Amazon & John Lewis have it for £23.49, normally if anywhere has anything cheaper, Mothercare drop there price, if they don't though you can get them to price match and usually get a £10 g/v in there for finding it cheaper.

Asda have the microwavable steriliser, it's a bit smaller I think for 21.98.

So if you find anything cheaper that Mothercare stock, it's worth giving them a call, may make you money :p

I've just heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time ever. it was on my home doppler. i am 100% it wasn't mine because of my heart palpitations mine is very irregular and this one was quite faint, very quick, and dissapeared after 30 sec and i had to look for it again!
hubby had a listen too and we're both very happy after the scare in a&e last week!

It's ace to hear the heartbeat isn't it!
I wondered about getting a Doppler but thought I would become obsessive with it. Which one is it that you have?
    Hope everyone is okay

i've got the angelsounds one. got it from ebay. i have to say, i've been trying for a week and i know now why i couldn't find it, i was listening way too high, underneath my belly button! now i listened right above my pelvis. first time it dissapeared within 30 sec, second time i heard it for a few mins and got a few kicks that nearly destroyed my eardrums (cheers baby!)
  • I would be worried about not finding it and then panicking.
I heard mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago at my 16 week appointment and it was just so cute.

Remember Mothercare price match any website price as long as the website has it in stock, so just print the page with the cheaper price before you go. The Closer to Nature Microwave steriliser is £18 at Amazon but Argos have it on offer at £13. Not sure how long that will last for....... :)

Hi all, havnt been on for a while as things have been so busy at work but finally had time to pop on and try to catch up and say hello :)

I had my 18 week check on Tuesday and all seems well. I got to hear bubba's heart beat again which was s lovely. I got all tearful. As it was a doctors appointment rather than MW I didnt ask hubby to come with me so now I feel bad that I got to hear the heart beat without him. He is just pleased that all is ok though. Doctor reckons bubba is a little wiggler as there were lots of wooshing noises as s/he kept wiggling away from the doppler!

Alizee is your doppler easy to use? I ve been looking at a few on ebay but cant decide if I'll be any good with it or if I'll just worry myself if I cant find anything!

Not long til 20 week scan on the 29th Nov now. We are planning to stay team yellow but I know on the day it will be so tempting to ask!

Has anyone got any good suggestions for non alcoholic drinks? Im getting fed up of schloer as I find it quite sweet after a while. I didnt miss wine at all at first but the last couple of weeks I have really felt the need for a glass on a Friday evening - it must be something to do with work stress!

Well i'm not going to lie! it took me a little while to find it but that was because i was looking in the wrong place! when i actually realised where the little one is i can find it in a couple of minutes. i didn't panic when i couldn't find it though as i went into this with an open mind and i thought well, if i can hear it, great! if not, i only paid £10 for it on ebay.

Charli82, you might like the grape juice from m&s, i had it even when i wasn't pregnant, it tastes just like wine but without the alcohol! they do it on the dine in for £10 but they sell it separately too.
