Hi, has anyone else had problems signing up to Pampers, my lap top won't accept the http address?
I had a lot of problems getting the box to accept a due date.
Eventually Pampers told me that their website has an issue with Internet Explorer 9 (only the most common version in existence ) and that I should use an alternative Internet Explorer version (like I have one of those sitting about!) or wait for it be fixed in a few weeks (weeks ??!!?!?!!!??)
Anyway, rant over :rotfl:I used my work laptop which was running IE7 on it and it worked OK.
Not sure on your http issue though? Perhaps try the main website and then folllow the advert links? If this doesn't work call them and have a whingeWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Well, its V-day here for me! Not going to move over yet tho, as find it hard enough to keep up with this thread when u lot r all having a chatty day hahaha!!
I THINK i`m supposed to make an appointment to see my midwife this week, but i cant remember! I know I have a home visit at 28 weeks and havent seen anyone since I was 15 weeks, so maybe i should? I`m too laid back about this pregnancy for my liking, i`m normally REALLy anal about appointments, lists, and buying stuff, but this time i`m really "meh" about it all! As long as I have the basics, it`ll all be fine!
Hope everyone is well today xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

I have both IE and Firefox on my laptop. Have a look at Mozilla firefox, it's free and makes a good back up. The layout and everything is pretty much the same as IETTC #3..........0 -
OOoh, meant to ask, i THINK i saw a few of you Kingston ladies discussing the hospital antenatal classes there a few days back? Went out for dinner with one of my friends the other day, who is going to Kingston for hers, but hadnt had any ctc details about classes. Do any of you have any info/ctc's for them you could PM me for her?
Thx K xx
Hi Kira
Sorry, haven't received any details yet myself, but mine are only in December. Will let you know if I do get any details.
I was just told my date, that it would be from 9-1pm, and that I have to pay £10 deposit.DFD February 2012

Ohh i have a bump-"ish" buddy
Its a lovely coincidence as well. Are you showing much happydays77 and is this your first?
Gops x
Hi again,
I'm not really showing, well I can't tell any difference. But I am quite a chunky monkey and it's a lot harder to see!!!!
It's my second child although my first is now 11 and so it feels very much like I'm starting from the beginning. Had a very different attitude to it all at 23 but now in 34 I've turned into a right worrier and every little twinge panics me.
Be nice to have a bump buddy!!!

Happydays - when you say chunky how big is chunky lol. I consider myself to be chunky, a size 10 prior to getting pregnant but not a slim size 10 lol.
I am the other side of Manchester, maybe we can get a few of us together and meet up half way distance once babies are here, can find a nice cafe to have a chatI am also going to be going to sure start groups and swimming.
Goppers - what you think. PM me where you both are.0 -
Yep, as goppers said, they're plastic covers that go over the side panels and I believe that mosts cots do come with them. I'm not so bothered about the cot looking chewed, but I thought that it's not the best for baby to be chewing on the wood :rotfl:
We have them on our cot - never seen DS use them when he was in it and can't see any marks on them so I guess they are not a necessity.
I would say a cot that has a drop side and a base that moves is more important IMHO.0 -

Oh I'm a proper chunky size 18. I used to be a lot bigger but have lost about 5 stone in the past 6 months. Had been trying to conceive for about 10 yes and never managed it and as soon as I lost weight it happened pretty much straight away.
Sounds good to me if we were to meet up. I'll PM you

happydays i'm the same - i have a bump, it's just not visible to the rest of the world yet
i can just feel it underneath the.. erm.. you know... flab, lol.
I had my obs appointment today, i found it... pointless? he didn't tell me anything i didn't know, pretty much repeated what the midwife told me - he said he'd see me at 32 weeks and off i went! hardly worth the bus journey!
My NT scan results are also back , 1 in 4583 - apparently that makes us low risk and there is no need for further scans.
hope everyone is doing okay! no one in north devon area?0 -

Good to know you didn't use/need the teething rails. Drop side was a def no for me, funnily enough. I know they've all been recalled in the USA and Canada for safety concerns and as much as I'm sure they're just being extra cautious and maybe even a bit silly, I decided against a drop side.....TTC #3..........0
