 Alizee, nice to see you over here. They put me forward by 6 days on my scan, I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and I'm sure I felt little Eric move for the first time yesterday when I touched my tummy with my cold hand and then again this morning on the way to work :)

Twigpig, I was after a cot bed with an attached draw and drop side. I searched all the usual ones, Mothercare, Kiddicare, Babies R Us and the only place I could find what I wanted was Tesco direct of all places lol! We havent bought it yet as it is a bit early for us but they have a code for 20% off all nursery furniture at the moment http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-7429.aspx

I just told my line manager and the manager a level above. HR became aware at the point we did the risk assesment as a copy was sent to them but other than that the only thing HR need is your MAT1B for which i think you get at about 25 weeks. If you tell your immediate Boss(es) and ask them if you need to do anything else they will probably either know or contact HR and find out for you.

Knowing my boss there will no risk assessment, or not soon anyway. He is 'relaxed' and 'everything will sort itself out' type of guy! I have told him I am pg already, but I will tell him again and let him know I will be taking time for antenatal appointments.

Thanks all - it was very useful!

Ooh I like that cot Laura, I'm tempted with the white, we're using a crib to start though, so not gonna buy our cot until about 3 months after he's born :( I want a sleigh style though!

Have you had a look in M&P's Twigpig? I love most of theres, but they are ££££. I'm planning on a cotbed though so I guess the extra money will be worth it if it lasts, they are solid!

We have bought a cot bed a while ago on ebay, when our godson was coming for a visit and then some other babies/toddlers. It is quite nice, but I do want to sell it and buy two identical ones ;-) it is 'I love my bear' from babies 'r us, but not the latest ones, it is white and has some drawings on the end panels. Maybe I just need to buy a seond one of ther, but my thought was that if we sell this, we could buy to cots, which would be smaller thant the corbeds, and would give us more space in the room.

Had a look at the M&P's that Fenwicks had. I don't mind spending a bit more, but just can't find what I want. I'm going to go in there and have another look, but if they have nothing, I'm really really really stuck, lol

I'd recommend going in, or even having a look online, that way you can gauge if you like any, without a wasted journey :)
