Or emsbet, make an emergency appt at ur dr's and they should get u referred asap, how horrid they wont let u self refer, i went up to ours in a blind panic and they were fine about me being there, even tried to keep me in xxxxx Really hope ur midwife helps u xxx
Tried the midwife and her phone is still off! I'm so mad at myself not leaving a message yesterday.
I think I'm going to call my GP as I don't have any confidence that phoning the maternity unit will help.

At our local hospital you can only self-refer if you're 20 weeks +, otherwise they say go to your GP or A&E. Good luck Emsbet, hope you get some reassurance today x
Had a really funny dream last night that I was giving birth, and they asked me if i'd like to use the water birth option, so I said yes, but it was full of baked beans instead of water :rotfl: It was quite nice and warm though.
Major ebay shopping session last night, I now have 300 items of baby clothes for 0-6months  Less than 30p per item which sounds good to me. We're picking them up at the weekend so I'll have a look through, keep my favourite stuff, and sell anything else on. Alternatively we might keep everything and just not do any washing for 6 months :rotfl:
Had a really bad nights sleep as we went round a neighbour's and had a lovely chat and coffee yesterday evening, but even though he said it was decaf I still was far too bouncy to sleep until gone midnight. At least today is a quieter day at work. Won't help that the office is dark, the light is flickering so we can't turn it on, will try not to doze off at my desk.0 -
I now have an appointment to see my GP at 12 today.

emsbet, glad you have an appointment I hope you get some answers and some reassurance.
Thank you ladies for your kind words the other day, everything came to a head for me yesterday at work when I realised that as I had to work late last night for an open evening that by the time I got home I wouldn't have time to cook my jacket potato (the only thing I can eat without being sick) This sent me into a blind panic and had me racing around during my lunch break trying to find something to eat and returning to work empty handed and sobbing like a baby!!!
Luckily they are a sympathetic bunch at my place and after a hug and some tlc I was sent home early to cook a potato in plenty of time to get back for open evening.
I feel like such an idiot for getting so upset over something so stupid but I've spent this whole pregnancy stressing about eating thanks to the sickness that I think it just sent me over the edge.
Still onwards and upwards I'm 20 weeks today and have my next scan on Monday, although I have to admit I am a bit nervous about it in case there is something wrong. Did you all feel this way?Marrying the man of my dreams30th November 2012 :jLittle Stig due22nd February 2012

Good Luck Emsbet

Floatylight Yes, I barely slept the night before, and the morning before it I felt sick, and I've not felt sick my whole pregnancy. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Yep I was absolutely convinced baby would have problems and not much anyone said could convince me otherwise, the scan was such a relief and worries that I had , had since bleed lifted, I did find parts strange like when they check brain, but in all in all prob the best day of my pregnancy so far xx#JusticeForGrenfell0
