I hope your feeling better emsbet, I can imagine how worried you must be, this being pregnant lark is a constant worry! There was me in my naive stupidty thinking 'yes I'm pregnant, no more period pain to put up with!' How naive was I?! Pregnancy has been a million times harder and more stressful than I imagined! You worry about every twinge, every pain, you worry when you are sick loads like I've been and the ladies who aren't sick are worried about not being sick!! ARGHH!!

Thanks. I'm not too bad. Had some brown CM in the day and some stringy brown blood this evening but thankfully still no more red (touch wood). DH has cooked me tea (courgette, chili and spring onion gnocchi yum :)). I'm just trying to relax and hopefully I'll get more sleep tonight.

    xx

I'm just having such a rubbish day, it looks like the sickness that plagued me early pregnancy has returned. I started being sick again on Friday, I've learnt to live with the constant nausea and the only being able to eat jacket potatoes, not being able to drink anything except water and diet coke (only from cans!!!!!)

Now on top of that its looking like I've got SDP, I'm so uncomfortable and being sick doesn't help and my partner has just gone away for 2 weeks :(

I've just spent the last 2 hours crying and trying to get it out of my system before my 2 older children come home as I don't want to see me in such a mess, I'm not very good at sharing and if I tell my partner he'll only worry himself stupid while he's away and I don't want to burden friends, writing it all down here makes it a bit easier as I feel like I'm sharing a bit.

Sorry for the moan, hope everyone else is feeling ok this evening wouldn't wish this on anyone

Here is a question, when I went for my first scan at 21 weeks, it was deemed "incomplete" as she couldn't get to see the 4 heart chambers properly and booked me in for a re scan but as you know I had to go to the consultant for something else and he done a re scan and has signed my scan off now as "complete" I still have the appointment for the re scan with the radiographer, but tbh I really don't feel comfortable, I don't think she was as skilled or as in the know as the consultant (which is understandable) but the panic she gave me I don't need again. Do you think I could cancel and it would be ok? I've to go back to the consultant in 4 weeks anyway so I will still be seeing someone. My notes are all written up to date with "scan complete" and all that body parts etc checked as ok.

Ohhh before I go I need to quickly pick your brains regarding breastfeeing! I really want to breastfeed my baby, but since being pregnant one of my nipples has gone slightly inverted, the other is OK! Will this make breastfeeding harder or not possible?

    Thanks!

i saw something on amazon that helps pull the nipple out to aid breat feeding. I would search now for you but hubby is trying to get me off the internet - lol

Let me know if you can't find it and I'll have a look tomorrow :)

I think it would be ok Gilly but maybe call your midwife to double check.

I can't stop crying this evening. Feel so stressed and exhausted. My knees ache, my head has been pounding all day. I've had a small further amount of stringy brown blood. I keep telling myself that all the medical professionals I've spoken with have said brown blood is nothing to worry about and that even the red blood is not major concern if it's not soaking through a pad. So why am I still so stressed. I'm trying hard not to be for Sir Alex but I can't shift it :(

Oh mate, if your Dr has told you not to worry then you can relax - if there was the slightest concern they would have you in and checked !

Does your OH know whats going on ? Do you have a friend you can blow off some steam with ?

Dont bottle it all up, having a good ole cry isnt going to do any harm to baby. Your body protects baby first and shelters them from harm - which is why YOU are getting head-aches and feeling !!!!!.

hope you feelin better soon !
