No worries hun, I know what you mean! I was really trying not to panic/get upset on Saturday evening as I'd not felt anything all day and normally during the day I get the odd kick here and there (but Pip is much more active in the evening when I'm slobbing on the sofa) but I put it down to the fact that I went to Birmingham on Saturday so was walking round the Bullring *all* day, plus it was sooo warm, I think Pip had just been asleep all day! But it was really difficult to not panic! Am sure it won't be long before you're getting kicked non-stop and you'll want a break!
Not sure if I can be faffed with going down to London for the Baby Show. If there was another one at the NEC then Id think about going but it's on there in May so we missed it. I did get an email from Mothercare the other day about a Baby Show code (which I also think someone else posted on here, or on the big pregnancy thread, a few days ago...) will see if I've still got it. I think it was for tickets for £11.50.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

Welcome happydays and congrats :wave
Icey - after I got some movement, it went quiet again before I got any more movement (maybe 5-7 days later). It was about 2 weeks later before it became regular and now I'm feeling the beanie move around several times a day. Almost 23 weeks now, but even at 21 weeks, was barely getting anything.....TTC #3..........0 -
Welcome happydays:j
Phew had a busy afternoon seeing rheumatologist. Don't have to see her now for 3 months when we'll talk about which arthritis meds I can have once baby is here(I can't take what I was on before if I want to breastfeed, which I want to at least try).
Amazing how tiring it is hanging about for appointments but the LO kept me amused with his tickling:rotfl::):happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hi Ladies,
I hope your feeling better emsbet, I can imagine how worried you must be, this being pregnant lark is a constant worry! There was me in my naive stupidty thinking 'yes I'm pregnant, no more period pain to put up with!' How naive was I?! Pregnancy has been a million times harder and more stressful than I imagined! You worry about every twinge, every pain, you worry when you are sick loads like I've been and the ladies who aren't sick are worried about not being sick!! ARGHH!!
I just bought one of those sleep genie pillows from Mothercare and can highly recommend them, not had such a good sleep in ages!
For the lady who was asking about Silvercross prams, I've got a Silvercross 3D and would recommend (not that I've used it yet!) Its easy to assemble and if you are worried about fitting it in your boot, the shop we bought ours at (babies r us) let us check with the display model that it fit in my car. I have a new shape Polo and it fit in no problems!
Anyway I've just made macaroni cheese for tea (with a ridiculous amount of cheese!!) so I'm off to eat that!
Got my 2nd scan in the morning at 8.50am so I'm hoping that this baby has shifted into a better position!
Have a nice evening all!!

Ohhh before I go I need to quickly pick your brains regarding breastfeeing! I really want to breastfeed my baby, but since being pregnant one of my nipples has gone slightly inverted, the other is OK! Will this make breastfeeding harder or not possible?
Thanks!

Twas me asking about the pramthank you for the advice. I think we are going to go with a Silvercross, they have some really good offers about and they are the only ones that I really like in all of the positions if you see what I mean.
Thanks again, enjoy your macaroni!!! xxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

I'm still here, the cheese is melting under the grill as I type!
I went for the rouge colour 3D just for something a little different! We read some reviews after we bought the pram (wrong way round I know) and there must be some really dumb people out there!! Sorry!! The amount of reviews saying how hard it is to assemble and change the carry cot to the car seat mode is unreal! Its really simple and I'm not technically minded at all! Ask the people in the shop to give you a full demo, the lady is babies r us was really helpful and spent around 30 minutes showing us the different positions and how to fold it down and put it back up!
Have fun!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
