Hey everyone, how are all those gorgeous bumps today?

Hope miska has a good scan today, and anyone else who had scans over the last couple of days went well?

Not really much going on here to be honest, I am starting to get heartburn a lot more though. And Pip is kicking quite a lot. Whenever I feel it, if OH is there I get him to pu this hands on my tummy in case he can feel it but so far he hasn't been able to feel it again. He even fell asleep on the sofa last night with his hand on my bump!

New car tomorrow! Can't wait :D

Hope everyone has a good day!

  • 20 weeks today :) Other than being crazily busy at work, not much going on here either!

Should be able to move back into our bedroom tonight, did the wallpapering last night so just the gloss to finish, and I'm really pleased with how it looks :)

Amanda - how was your scan today? :)

Thanks for asking mozzy ! :)

Went well Rhys is growing well and I can officially declare him a boy thats twice I've seen his bits now :rotfl::rotfl:

He is smaller than my other 3 were at this stage but still well within range and I guess he will be smaller since I am much smaller than I was when I had the other 3.

Am back at 28wks for a growth scan due to the previous complications and tbh I just wish it was Jan already I can't wait to meet him :D

Hope you're all well don't get on here much lately :D

    xx

    Hi Ladies and Bumps,

Thank God its Friday! Just in from work and knackered. Had a hectic week, Mum was taken into hospital on Wednesday night so had quite a lot of stress with that and driving back and forth to the hospital, she's going to be ok though, so that's a relief. My hubby, the wonderful man that he is has been so thoughtful this week. He came home on Wednesday with a lovely new heart charm for my Pandora bracelet, then yesterday gave me a voucher for a Mum to Be Pamper day at our local spa! I'm booked in tomorrow morning for 3 hours, to include a facial and massage - I can't flamin wait!! How spoilt have I been!!

I hope you all have lovely weekends planned, weather is rubbish here, but I don't mind, gives me an excuse to catch up on my telly!

    Tace Care.
    xx

    Welcome Lola
Hello All :j

Twigpig - I will Be interested to know how you get on with your gtt and growth scan. If you want to come with me to kfc next time you will have to visit my MIL :eek: as the KFC is on the way to hers!!!!!!!!
If she's as lovely as my MIL, count me in! :D
My GTT is 17th Oct, so will be sure to let you know how it goes. Still haven't decided on pushchairs yet. Ironically, in pram mode, the bugaboo cameleon fits in my boot better than the Oyster, but the Oyster fits better in pushchair mode. I'm still torn. If the Cameleon fit better in push chair mode (i.e. left me some room, lol), it would probably be decision made...... more thinking to do before we're ready to buy after our scan at the end of the month :)

Amanda - Yay, Rhys is doing well. I also wish it was January already with maybe a small pause for xmas day :rotfl:

Jannine - glad your mum's ok........ have a great day at the spa, sounds like you deserve some pamering ;)

emmylou - Hope you had a lovely scan today. It's totoally normal to be nervous, but relax and enjoy seeing your little one again :)

Kira - I'm looking forward to sorting out my leave. That must have felt great! I can't decide how many weeks before the birth to start my leave. What is everyone else doing (I get 6 months paid leave, so have plenty of flexibility).

Its a nice feeling in a way, but scary that it is all getting close so quickly! I get statutory minimum from my company, and my finances will be v tight despite saving since we started TTC. So i'm starting my m/l the day before my EDD- partly because its xmas straight before, so i wont have to be at work anyway, and will get full pay for those days off. Plus my boss has agreed i can work at home for the the entire month before my EDD, which will make it alot more feasible to carry on.
