Oohh I love the Mylo pram, it's gorgeous.
We went for an Explory, but an ex display one so got it for 350.
Otherwise would have picked a cheaper one.
Going to get a carseat and adaptors for it then that's it
Love the Oyster too. X0 -
Oooh I'm jealous Redhead. I love them! I do love the Mylo though, it is expensive but I loved it.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

How's the cough / cold today Gillyx?
Is it just me that went for the cheapest travel system I could find on ebay? You all seem to be looking at some really lovely ones but I'm trying not to look at any others in case I change my mind about the one I've gotIt fits in the car, it'll work to put a baby in, that's enough for me.
I'm traumatised. I just went to Poundland and they are selling advent calenders. Seriously!!!!! Is it nearly Christmas already?
People keep offering me lots of lovely baby stuff for freeGetting quite a collection of toys, and other bits, and a big bag of maternity clothes too. If I have a girl I've been offered plenty of girly clothes from them as well, but I expect it'll be a boy just to be awkward
6 days to go until my scan!

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie to posting, usually just read the emails and occasionally read the forums.
I'm currently 14 weeks EDD 15th March, I've had my first scan
I was just wondering is anyone looking for 2nd hand prams/travel systems. I've found a couple of website which cater for mum's who are selling stuff on/ buying stuff. I've looked and found a decent brand new travel system can be around £650-1k!!!
I'm thinking if it is well looked after and clean it'll be ok?!?!Got married 13/11/10

Just off phone to midwife-worried
She finally chased up my missing blood results and yet again,my platelet levels are still low. She said they are borderline but said I need to have a blood test every couple of weeks, and that I may not be allowed epidural. Have been intears with worry, even tho she didnt seem concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? Can this harm the baby?:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

... Hi Lucy sorry you are upset I have not experienced it but I think that it will not affect baby its just to do with blood clotting hence why they would be cautious with epidural. If you are worried perhaps speak to the midwife and get a full explanation of what it is and she can they reassure you.
But she did say they were borderline so dont worry bubs is fine.

Hello All :j
Twigpig - I will Be interested to know how you get on with your gtt and growth scan. If you want to come with me to kfc next time you will have to visit my MIL :eek: as the KFC is on the way to hers!!!!!!!!
Gilly - hope you are feeling better. whenever I have a cold and cant breathe I slather myself in vick and it is soooo strong and drink lots of fruit juice.
bluebell & mozzy & Lola- I love bargains/2nd hand/free stuff plus couldnt handle the stress of picking out an expensive buggy, anyway they are not in anything for long as they grow at lightening speed . My ex-boss is giving me her pram and buggy. Also another thing I did read the bounty book in one of the packs and (sorry if I cause offence) but it advertised some wet wipes for £2.99 which were 99% water and 1% fruit extract !!!!!!!! I am not paying £2.99 for a paper wipes soaked in water with a dash of lemon or something :rotfl:if your babys that sensitive I say use a bl:cool::cool:dy flannel and water :rotfl: however if mousey does arrive everything will probably go out the window and they will probably become my new best friends :rotfl::rotfl:
Mishka - good luck for your scan
