I had the fluttering, bubbles feeling a week or so ago, then the last couple of days it's been a similar feeling to when you've got a twitchy muscle, but quite low down in my tummy, with fairly regular, constant little flicking feelings!

  • I'm high risk because I had a very early 1lb 9oz prem in my 2nd preg, plus had severe SPD in third, and had bleed at 7 weeks followed by an ambulanced in huuuuge bleed and clots with this bump at 17 weeks where a nice A&E doc said he was certain I'd miscarried...only to be shown bumps little heart happily beating away FOUR hours later on a scan  but still only had one mw appt lol.
Rang today and booked in for tues morning so happier...next growth scan 6th oct at 28 weeks ...
Slightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8 :D:D:D xx

    Re. The GTT.
I have been offered one because of my weight (14stone, 5'7 height so kinda on the heavy side) and the details are as follows.

Nothing to eat from 9pm the day before my appointment.
Have to be at clinic for 9am.
Have first blood test, immediatly after i have to drink a bottle of Lucozade Original. Sit still (no walking/moving about allowed) for 2 hours, then have another blood test.

While i am grateful for anything that could help our little baby, i really really hate needles, and 2 in a day scares the living daylights out of me, so unsure what to do :(

Good week this week, picked pram up, love it to bits and got our 20 week scan in 10 days so realllyyyyy excited about that.

Going to tell our DD after this as well, as she doesn't know yet, she just thinks i'm getting fat(ter) lol xxx
