I've been taking anti histamines all Summer, as my hayfever was giving me intense headaches. My GP said there are certain ones that are ok to take when pg such as Loratidine.0

I've had 2 MW appointments (8 weeks and 16 weeks) and also a consultant appointment as I'm classed high risk due to BMI. Urine samples were needed for all 3. I do have 2 spare pots at home, as I keep asking for one at every opportunity. At least if I forget to ask for one when I do the next, I'll have a spare :rotfl:
They previously had a 20 week MW appointment but don't bother now that you have a scan at that time (at least in my area) so my next one is 24/26 weeks.....TTC #3..........0 -

I had to see my gp in early days as my hayfever was so bad. (I can't take my normal pills when pregnant)......
GP prescribed the nasal spray beconaise which is what MW also recommended by phone. You can buy over the counter (as I did as it was cheaper than the prescription) but pharmacy wouldn't sell me it when I said I was pregnant so I had to go see gp before I could buy it, lol
4-5 days later, I was great and stopped using the spray after about 7-10 days and not had any more trouble. GP did advise I wouldn't see immediate results, but it would be safer for baby. Hope this helpsTTC #3..........0 -
Morning all. Congrats to keelykat on v day! That's the next milestone to look forward to and can't wait to get there too.
Baby has been particularly wriggly this morning, which at least helped me through a meeting with my bosses. Am grumpy generally today though, not in the mood for work and really annoyed at my pram delivery.
Seems Mothercare have used a delivery company who do not do deliveries on a Saturday or as far as I can see arrange to a different address, so either DH or I would have to take a day off work, or we can pick up from their depot on a Saturday morning but it's 28 miles away... If I'd known this to start with I would have planned accordingly. Really p.....d off at knowing my pram is so near and yet so far. Perhaps I shouldn't have just assumed it would come Parcelforce or RM who have depots less than a mile away (that open for enough hours for us to get there round work). Rant over!!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Ladies who are high risk due to BMI, I'm thinking my BMI isn't great and they've not even mentioned it at all  Maybe they do things differently here. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
