Probably a silly question but it's something that's worrying me a bit.....does bending from the waist hurt the baby? I can't bend from the knees because of arthritis:o

Not at all... think of the ladies who work in fields in developing countries picking/planting rice for example.. their babies turn out fine!

I've only had my booking appointment and scans too bumpmakesfour Apparently we've to make all our own appointments here, not sure how I'm supposed to do that when I don't have a midwife. Made an appointment with my doc for next week as I thought I should probably make contact with someone at least, or I wouldn't have saw anyone for 9 weeks

I'm 19+4 now and I've had my booking appointment, 16 weeks midwife appointment and my 12 week scan so far. Have got a 25 week midwife appointment in October. She books me in for the next one each time I go see her (plus I get a fresh sample pot each time too...)

I'm currently enjoying a nice cuppa and some Galaxy counters, got a mountain of ironing to do, trying to motivate myself!
