Thanks pigpen, another job for DH then!! (If a little worrying that I was sleeping in that thing in my formative years. My brother was the one who used to gnaw on it though by all accounts - could explain a lot :rotfl:)

DH will be really chuffed to get more work. He's not complained but will probably be glad when I can share cat litter duties with him again!

We're undecided at the moment Mozzy. We're in a 1 bed flat until next April/May and there is NO room for a cot. We're toying between a crib or a moses basket and really can't decide.

I'm hoping to pick up a rocking crib somewhere, as I feel it might last longer than a Moses Basket. There was a basket on Freecycle the other day though and I was so tempted, but it isn't really what I want.

Just got back from the car boot, which was hard work traipsing round, and mostly rubbish, till I hit a stall near the end with lots of nice condition clothes. My haul for the day (don't think I spent even a tenner?):

Hey Mozzy, we'll be using a moses basket for a while, as we'd like LO in our room for a 6-12 weeks (ish) at first and it's not really big enough to put their cot in. We'll then start them napping in their cot/room for afternoon naps before we move them in there properly. That's the current plan at least :rotfl:

Cribs are usualy a fair bit bigger than a moses basket.. however.. have a look at the Ikea sniglar cot.. it is ver tiny so might be a better option..

well done Amanda on a healthly scan and being on the blue team

and to Kira more pink pink pink team!

my 16 week midwife appointment we listened to bean but it does seem to vary. I felt honoured as i work in a building with some midwife and i asked them if they listened at 16 weeks and they said not if they are overwieght as cant hear a thing so i was chuffed my midwife listened!

i have been to the docs with my varicous veins and he said they are really bad he has given me a doctors note to do amended duties... ha ha i bet that wont happen! he is also thinking of booking me for a scan... on my legs... and i wanted to see bean again but he said scan my legs to check the curculation.

I'm dreading seeing the consultant next week-as mine are on my labia :( not very comfortable either.

I'm thinking of Moses basket with swaddling blanket and one more layer for warmth. I'm just worried about what to do with Feb being so cold
