Congrats on Team Blue Amanda :j

I'm 23+4 and still checking the loo roll!

Every square inch of my body that is below my boobs hurts today :( Even my toes! I never thought I would be one of those women who moaned about being pg, but I turned into one of them at about 7 weeks

Me too, not sure if I'll manage to stop checking any time before it actually arrives!

Must be something in the air today, I've been limping round for no apparent reason again.

Well in the few days before labour that gets gross so be warned!

Congrats on team blue Amanda, glad that the scan went well :j

I have my 16 week midwife appointment later/ Hubby has taken the day off (and tomorrow, lol) to come with me :rotfl: I did warn him we could be in there all of 5 minutes. I'm sure he just wanted an excuse to have a long weekend. I did remind him that I'm the one who NEEDS the long weekend! :rotfl:

YAY am glad it's not just me not going to find out! Feel like I'm the only one at the moment! :D

And hopefully the quicker labour thing is true!! :rotfl:

Another one here for a surprise! Some women say they have a suspicion either way, but I really have no inkling at all.

Hope everyone here is well. I had a scare last week when couldn't find the heartbeat with my doppler, then nor could midwife when I went to see her for reassurance, but I paid for a private scan andluckily everything seemed to be just fine.

    Summerday 21+2 xx

    Morning everyone.
Just had my downs test results thru and am low risk(1 in 2200 chance). So very pleased. I was worried because of my age(38). It wouldnt have made a difference to us either way but obviously a healthy result would have been preferable.

i think we all still check the loo roll. After 4 mc's i still do and i'm now 20+6!

Had my consultant appointment this morning and i've now been discharged. She just said everything is fine now but if i have any concerns tell the midwife and she will refer me back to them. I did tell her that i'm still worried/scared, she said everything is fine and it's the furthest ive every got. She also did the fundal height measurment and its 23cm, which she said was good. I also said that i am worried because i'm still small, but i am naturally slim and OH is slim as well so think baby will just be small. She said the midwife has my growth chart so if baby is small in anyway she will refer me back to the hospital. So, all in all it's ok:)

Kira good luck with your scan today and hope baby is good for you and shows you what they are:)

Congratulations Amanda! Hope your scan goes well today too Kira :-)

I had my Downs results too, also low risk so that's reassuring. Will be 16 weeks tomorrow but my 16 week midwife appointment isn't for another 2 weeks!

I got the hem on my maternity trousers sorted out and am wearing them today, very comfy though I am finding the 'over bump' style a bit odd, as I'm used to much lower cut trousers. Had a nice day relaxing yesterday, and enjoyed the cinema trip. Cowboys and Aliens was much better than I'd expected!

My husband is also complaining about the lack of 'attention' but I've completely lost any interest in doing anything like that, plus it feels sore and uncomfortable. I'm glad it's not just me feeling like that then...

Can someone give me a quick outline of what happens at the 16 week appointment. Got mine on Friday.
    Thanks!

they put a stick thing in your urine sample and do your BP and ask if there is anything you want to ask..

Takes about 5 minutes and is quite uninteresting :D
