Hi Ladies,
I'm joining you all from the less than 12 weeks board. I had my scan on Monday and I'm now 12+5! The scan was sooo exciting, though I had to have an internal due to my tilted uterus! We got some great pictures though and it wasn't uncomfortable at all.
I had started to feel better recently, then I woke up this morning and just feel rubbish! I feel achy and I'm constipated (sorry for the TMI!) and I just feel bunged up. I was supposed to be going to the pics to see Harry Potter but just can't be bothered.
My midife is coming round on Saturday morning, any ideas what the second app involves? Taking blood and more questions?
I've been looking at prams, I've got my eye on a Silver Cross pram, its quite expensive, but my parents said they want to pay for it as a gift, so me and Mum are off on Sunday for a proper look and push!
Hope everybody is feeling ok.

Speaking about prams etc, I've got my heart set on the Mamas and Papas Mylo, I love everything about it, had a push in the shop and it's amazing. It's the price that's putting me off, we can afford it and all but I don't know if we'd be just aswell getting a cheaper one, as baby knows no difference. The frontier is never somewhere else. Hi all,
I had my scan last friday and everything was fine. It was great to see the baby in detail and was so much better than my 12 week scan. We didn't find out what we're having, as we want the suprise. I am really starting to show now (21 weeks tomorrow) and am feeling really uncomfortable in this heat. Baby is moving around lots still and yesterday I actually seen its kick move my tummy, which was great. OH has still not felt it kick though as everytime I get him to feel for it the baby stops kicking!
I still haven't bought anything for the baby yet, just have a few packs of nappies and wipes, we are having a new kitchen fitted next week and it has tottally skinted us out - but it needed doing so badly (think - hole in the ceiling, 30 year old cupboards etc) so can't really think about getting much for the baby until Sepetmbers pay day, which is quite worrying as the time is just flying by and we also need to decorate the baby's room and I would like our hall, landing and stairs doing before it arrives!!
Hope everyone is ok xx

I'm definately seeing the bump now especially because I've lost weight it sticks out more. I had my first midwife appointment a couple of days ago and I heard little beans heartbeat for the first time, i had a big smile on my face and can't wait for the 20 weeks scan now. I was wearing maternity jeans to the appointment with the fabric that covers the bump and my midwife thought I was wearing 2 pairs of trousers lol. She said she wondered why they were comfy on me since i don't have a massive bump yet but they are soooooo comfortable but now I feel like am I too early on to be wearing these now? :L What do you girls think?
I was in maternity trousers at 8 - 9 weeks Stacey :rotfl:
Welcome to all the newbies :j0 -
I was in maternity stuff by about 5 weeks with most of mine... I get huge quick and expansion slows at about 12-20 weeks then as the fluid and wind and bloating subsides.. then it starts up again.. most people think I am about to drop from about 24 weeks...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Got to admit I've got a huge belly and almost none of it is bump
I'm still having trouble 'going'
Trouble is I don't know whether that is pregnancy or my unrelated quirks! I'm not in maternity clothes yet but can't wait for scan tomorrow to check all is well with monster, as I don't feel big at all this time, I'm sure I was bigger at 20 weeks last time.
I have just been and cleaned the bathroom... Twin1's autistic tendency manifests itself at toilet time, it looked like someone had drawn on it in chocolate spead _pale_ so I did it all whilst I was up there. The floor still needs mopping but the mop and bucket is in the bin cupboard but that has spiders now I'm sure it does so I'm not going in there in the dark. Wanted it to be nice for when I get back on Saturday!
I did want the whole house done but the washing mountain still stands. I will settle for tidy, hoovered, kitchen and bathroom cleaned and mine and Squeak's beds changed so I can get in a clean bed sat night. Kids not long been done after the last bedwetting incident, Watch at least 2 of them do it tonight now so I have to wash all theirs and don't get chance to do mineMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
