The main PG thread has a hospital bag list, I don't know if there is a baby list.

What did you want to know? I will say don't buy a baby bath, and actually I might even have one here gathering dust if you really want it :o

I think we have a baby bath which we got for free before i had my first mc!
Just a list of 'essential' items - for example how many vests, how many sleepsuits etc! Plus i don't know how many newborns clothes to get or how many 0-3month old! I know everyone is prob different with getting how many off each age!

    hey all,

Hope you are all well. I have been reading along but not posted for ages. I have now reached 20 weeks yeah:j

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and hope to find out what team we are on. we are hoping for Blue:beer:

I had a rough week last week Thursday evening I was sick and it was horrid and very acidy. Disliked a lot :( following that my very lively bump that i feel moving around several times a day seemed to have stopped moving :( Saturday night was sick again same horrible thing...

Phoned NHS direct they told me to contact midwife who called me in to listen to bump. If she couldnt hear it we were going straight for a scan. All a bit scary.

Anyway bumps heartbeat was found so all okay. It is a very lively bump though as she found it then lost it loads of time and said it doesnt stay still. Yesterday evening i felt the movements again so all happy.

I've also got my 20 week scan tomorrow :D very excited! Although we're not fussy about whether its a boy or girl.

I've been getting more prods which is good, still nothing i can class as regular though yet. I felt the strangest 'tickle' down the right hand side of my bump-it must have been an arm or foot as he/she rolled over or something :)

    keely.

ps-not been sleeping too well, can't get comfy and it's driving me mad!

Has anyone got a Dreamgenii, or similar? Can't decide whether to get one or not. I know I could just use a regular pillow but often wake up in the night and I've rolled onto my back, and the Dreamgenii is supposed to help prevent that...

I seem to recall someone not thinking much of it last year, have you tried reading reviews on Amazon?

    Hello All :j

Hope all those with scans go well and you get to find out pink/blue!!

On the subject of trying to get comfy in bed on my side my husband had an idea as I wanted to put something between my legs (no not one of those ;)) he said why not use that new draught excluder thing which is languishing in the spare room its a long pillow type thing and helped very much apart from when it rolled out of bed :rotfl:

4nnabella am perservering without buying a special pillow but do sometimes end up on back for a short time as my hips hurt after being laid on too much!!!!!!!! I try and prop myself up a bit.

    Take care All

    thanks guys,

I have to admit i am not enjoying this pregnancy as much as i did with DD1. Just want it all over with already!

I am going to breastfeed but not planning anything as i think thats when things go wrong. i breastfeed DD1 until she was 10 months but we will see how it all goes not pressuring myself at all

  • 25 Weeks tomorrow! JJ has now been renamed to "Baby Kicksalot" - tried to nap yesterday and every time I lay down I got kicked. Tried everything I could think of and still couldn't get down. Then this morning when my alarm didn't go off, JJ didn't kick like he/she usually does when it's time for me to get up...
