Yep! I sleep with a pillow between my legs and one under the bump. It does help a bit (less sore than without) but I still wake up achey. I suppose it's just one of the many joys of pregnancy!0 -

I don't really have a big bump at the moment, I'm on 18weeks, maybe I'll try using some pillows tonight to see if that helps. thank you.0 -

There's a voucher for a free box of Huggies from Tesco in the Bounty book. Also if you join Tesco baby club you get loads of vouchers but it takes several weeks for them to arrive. I've heard other people say that the ASDA and Tesco vouchers can be used on any of your shopping, not just on the products specified (ie the Huggies starter pack ASDA voucher actually just takes £5 off your shopping so you don't actually have to buy the starter pack.
I've also heard that Sainsbury baby club has lots of free vouchers and a good starter pack but I've not joined this one so don't quote me on that!
THe ASDA voucher expires after a month (mine sadly ran out before I got round to using it) but I will be signing up my OH, MIL and my mum to get some more vouchers when I'm ready to start buying nappies!0 -
i swear to god im going to murder a man today - they all seem to be getting on my nerves!!!
Me and DD was making butterfly cakes - I had just cut the "wings" out, put them on side, OH walked in and ate it then walked off!!!! DD (being 3) was upset, me (being hormonal) lobbed the cake at him and he sat there calling me a pyscho (he's lucky i wasnt near the knives lol)
Then - Someone has created a FB account using DDs name (I suspect its her dad - my ex) so i've asked my friends to report it and all i get is 2 blokes telling me to grow up and that it "might" be another XX XX - Considering it is all DD's details, and DD has a very unsual first and surname i doubt it (!)
(I know im making a mountain out of a molehill but right now i REALLY dont care)

Sorry Mimi but this made me laugh:rotfl:
I think I would have done exactly the same! Men are clueless at times.
Hope you sort out the fb problem.0 -

Does anyone else have a young(ish) child whilst their expecting? my 3yo is coming out with some right howlers today.
DD- MUMMMM when is that baby coming?
Me: Santa's bringing it (due boxing day)
DD: well how is the baby getting out of your stomach - is santa claus cutting it out?
Me: no (DD) he isnt (said whilst giggling)
DD: ohh so are the doctors cutting it out?
Me: Well no, hopefully no one will cut the baby out
DD: well, how is it going to come out?
Me: I'll tell you when your older
DD: BUT MUM!!!! I wont be older when the babys here - how does it come out!!!!!
then later:
DD: mum, do we need bottles for the baby?
Me: hm, eventually but to beging with mummy will feed it with mummy milk
DD: where do you get mummy milk
Me: It comes out of mummy's boobies
DD (looking disgusted) Well why dont you just take the baby to nana's and get the milk out the fridge when she'd not looking if we cant afford buy any !!!
lol
DD is now convinced SHE has a baby in her tummy too and keeps saying "no, im not eating my dinner, but my baby wants ice cream - so gimme ice cream!!!"
