Apologies for starting off something, as far as I am aware bank holidays do accrue if in your contract that pubic holidays are paid for and the office is closed (which mine does).QUOTE]
My office never closes, but we still accrue them - I think it comes down to your individual terms and condition, not helpful, I knowTTC #3..........0 -
Changing Bags - I am extremely jealous of my friends Radley changing bag which is gorg but I've been using the free Boots one for over 2yrs now and its still going strong. You still get a voucher for a free one too
I got another one in the post this week.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

With a salary sacrifice scheme you don't 'buy' your vouchers - you agree to a reduction in your total salary in exchange for a set amount of childcare vouchers each month. I think that's the important distinction.
That makes a little bit more sense, only a little bit mind you:rotfl:

Looking online, if you work full time 5 days per week statutory holiday entitlement is 28 days. I believe that its these days you should accrue.
We get 25 days + 8 bank holidays, so I can only accrue 3 bank holidays.
28 days is the statutory entitlement, but your work give a non-cash benefit of an additional 4 days' leave (32 days total annual leave).
They can't reduce the non-cash benefits they give you when you go on maternity leave.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Just sticking my head in the from <12w thread
In my company, if you are earning enough to pay for them, they will deduct this from your pay as usual. If you are on SMP or no pay, the company will fund the cost until the end of your maternity leave. I'd be very surprised if they're effectvely free - has anyone had any experience of actually getting them free?
TWIGPIG !!! WAVES FRANTICALLY !!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Congratulations. We shared this journey before my little one is 23 monthsJust take each day as it comes.

I always feel like a right outsider around here because i'm not going back to work for various reasons that i won't go into as i don't want it to seem like i'm judging others for their choices.
DH earns enough that I dont *have* to work but I'm planning to get evening work if needed for either extra pennies or to save my sanity lol and that way there'll always be one of us at home, which is how my parents did it when i was younger
I'm not going back either TL but think I'll do something maybe one day a week.
Time is going so quickly at the moment, I want it to slow down! So enjoying being pregnant

It's a long time away for me ( not due til March) but reg childcare i'm pretty sorted, my mum is a childminder and will keep me a place
means I can 'take advantage' as she will be more flexible than an 'unknown' childminder would be. I will pay her of course.
